A Renowned Software Providers Enters Canada

Ontario’s newly regulated gambling market is about to become even more interesting after April 4th, when Relax Gaming, a well-known game provider, becomes available for Ontario players. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) approved the license for the software provider, just before the next week’s launching of regulated online betting in Ontario.

At this point, Ontario is under close inspection by many companies trying to get a share of a potentially very lucrative market, second only to New York in terms of sheer population. Relax Gaming is expected to debut with 130 online casino games through several operators.

16 of its partner studios are involved in creating almost half of these games, and this is only the beginning – later in 2022, Relax Gaming plans to further expand its business in North America.

Chief Regulatory Officer at Relax Gaming Alexia Smilovic Rønde said that “The opening of the Ontario province marks the long-awaited debuts of regulated operations in Canada and is truly a turning point for the industry in the region.”
