Today we are going to look at an online casino with, arguably, the best possible name for any online casino ever: Las Vegas Casino. The term Las Vegas is probably one of the first things that comes to mind whenever gambling is mentioned. This gambling site may have secured the best possible name in the online casino world but that still won’t stop me from dragging it through the mud if it deserves so. Spoiler alert: It does!

Casino Review Details

With a name like Las Vegas Casino, you’d think that this dawg secured its domain name a long time ago. Well, you’d be correct to assume that since this online casino came out way back in 2002. Casino Las Vegas is operated by Martingale Europe Limited and holds the Malta Gaming Authority license. The website uses SSL encryption to make sure your data can’t be intercepted when being sent over to the casino and back to you.

Even though this online casino is going to attract players on name alone, I imagine that many of them won’t stay for long. Casino Las Vegas is very light with games, software providers, casino bonuses, and no online sportsbook. However, it does have good customer service and a decent VIP program. Unfortunately, most casino players (myself included) care more about the former than the latter.

The Casino Las Vegas site is kind of lacking the whole glitz and glam. I don’t know about you, dawg, but when I think about the biggest city in the online gambling industry, I imagine live cabaret music while slowly driving down the neon-lit boulevards. If you somehow managed to not be included in the restricted countries list, then you may want to know about the casino bonuses that Casino Las Vegas offers. Welcome Bonus

Upon visiting the promotions page of Casino Las Vegas, you might be surprised to learn that it doesn’t really have a welcome bonus. Turns out, the welcome bonus is activated “elsewhere”. From the homepage, one of the ads will show the option for the welcome bonus. When you click on it, it will take you to casinoclub.com, sort of a parent website for Las Vegas Casino. There, you can register your account and make an initial deposit and you’ll be good to go.

Just one question: Why oh why do we have to go to a different website to get the welcome bonuses? Is it too much to ask to do everything in one place? I actually contacted customer support regarding this and they didn’t even understand my question. They seem to think that I have confused Casino Las Vegas with another website but it’s right there, dawg. Maybe they are pretending not to know or they genuinely don’t know. Mega Vegas Bonus

The Mega Vegas Bonus will give you between 50% and 100% bonus every month for your deposit. While it sucks that you can do this monthly and not weekly, not to mention that this is a sucky bonus, at least you can play almost any game in the casino to meet the wagering.

Extra Daily Bonus with Interac

If you happen to be using Interac for your payment method, you’ll be happy to know that using it in Casino Las Vegas will give you an extra 10% (once a day) with your deposit. The maximum amount you can get this way is C$200. This is a pretty cool bonus and if you happen to be using Interac as a payment method, there’s really no good reason why you shouldn’t use this one.

Privee Platinum Aces and Elevation Blackjack

I’m putting these two together because they are almost identical. Casino Las Vegas hosts exclusive Privee Blackjack tables in their Live Casino library. While these play normally just like any other live blackjack game, each card shoe has two platinum aces. If you happen to get a blackjack with 2 platinum aces, you’ll not only win the hand but also get a C$500 extra bonus. If you happen to get a blackjack with just one platinum ace, you’ll get an extra C$20 prize.

Pretty much the same thing goes for Elevation Blackjack (another live blackjack game) except this one has golden aces. Score a blackjack with two aces and win C$1,000. This is fantastic if you happen to be into live blackjack. I mean, no reason why you shouldn’t go for these, dawg.

VIP Program

Rarely do I see VIP programs that are as good as this one, dawg. It’s a fully realized 6-tier program that actually has rewards that players can use. Yeah, none of that VIP manager, faster withdrawals stuff. But you do get extra free spins, wager-less bonus funds, and birthday gifts. Here’s the rundown:

Loyalty system

You’ve probably noticed that your boy Derrick mentioned loyalty points several times. For every C$10 you bet on Slots, Keno and scratch cards you’ll get 1 loyalty point. For every C$20 you bet on roulette, Stravaganza, Red Dog and Pai Gow you’ll also get 1 loyalty point. For Craps, Blackjack, Baccarat, Casino Holdem, Pontoon and Arcade games you’ll have to fork out C$30 for a measly little point.

The main purpose of loyalty points is to advance in VIP ranks but players can also exchange them for cash. Depending on your loyalty level, the loyalty points conversion ratio will be “better”, but if you ask me, they really aren’t worth it, no matter which level you are.

While I was looking in the promotions section, I was pleasantly surprised to see a free bonus spins button. It says, plain as day, “Free spins Monday”. Turns out, they are talking about the free spins you get from the VIP bonus. As it happens, the monthly free spins you get from VIP bonuses are split so you get some each Monday. On the brighter side, every month you will get free spins bonuses for different slot games, so at least there’s some variety in here.

The welcome bonus does give out a whopping 250 bonus spins which the casino will give you in small packs of 25. Finally, the VIP rewards and Loyalty exchanges can also earn you a bunch of free spins.

Online casinos will often brag about how many online casino games they have and how many software providers they have on their roster. Some casinos can only have one or two software providers in order to cater to certain regions (US region mostly). I’m telling you this because Casino Las Vegas has only one software provider (Playtech software) and yet, they aren’t trying to cater to any specific region. In fact, if you look at their restricted countries list, it seems they don’t want anyone to visit their casino, dawg. Playtech games can be fun. They used to be considered the best casino games, but they are ancient when compared to modern video slots.

Slot Games

As I’ve already mentioned, all the games in this casino are done by Playtech, so you’ll be seeing similar slots (same UI, different theme), wherever you click. There are just over 400 games in the slots section but there is a catch. The catch is that they’ve also snuck in a few table games and some jackpots as well, to make the library look bigger. Yes, I know I’m nitpicking but it really grinds my gears when online casinos do this.

Table Games

Well, there isn’t a “Table games” category per se. However, there is a special category for “Roulette games” *happy squeal* and another one for card games.

The roulette section hosts 15 roulette games. These range from American and European roulette games to Superman Roulette. Who says the man of steel can’t enjoy a nice game of chance?

Card games

Card games on the other hand are a bit different. Casino Las Vegas is packing 13 blackjack games and 6 other card games (Heads-up Hold’em, Deuces Wild, Caribbean Stud, Casino Hold’em, Aces & Faces and Jacks or Better. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to find much here but this is a pretty good lineup of table games.

Jackpot Games

Okay, this was kind of cool. The Jackpots section has a massive progressive jackpots library. They have a few sub-categories. Obviously, they put their favourite picks on the very top. Then they got Fire Blaze Progressive slots, Age of Gods jackpots, Kingdoms Rise progressive jackpot slots, Dragon Jackpot, Frankie Dettori’s and, simply, More Jackpot slots. It’s been a while since I’ve seen any online casino organize their jackpots so well, so I’m genuinely impressed with this jackpot section. And wouldn’t you know it? They also added that little bar at the top of each game so you can see the current jackpot before you even enter the game.

Live Casino Games

Casino Online Gambling has never been the same ever since live dealer games took the stage. Despite only having one software provider, Casino Las Vegas has a really decent live casino games library. In the “Live” section, you can find different types of live casino games, all organized according to their genre. There are New & Hot, Game Shows, Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat & Sicbo and Poker. Each category has anywhere from 3 to up to 20 games. Again, your boy Derrick is impressed with the organization, which I cannot say for most live casinos online.

Seeing how Casino Las Vegas is one of the older online casinos, it still has an instant play desktop app available. The app still works BTW, and you can use it if you are planning to play there. As for mobile phone apps, there isn’t one available. However, most mobile casinos run really well via a mobile phone browser regardless. We tested out the app using both Android and iPhone and they both run fine on a small screen.

As always, your boy Derrick had to have a nice chat with the live chat support team. They responded right away and I wasted no time in asking them about the weird welcome bonus (the one that takes you to another site) and they had no idea what I was talking about. I noticed that I wasn’t getting anywhere so I asked them about other things and they were very helpful in that regard. So the live chat support works but the website itself is very questionable.

You can also reach the support team via E-mail however there is no direct telephone number support, which I personally don’t mind but I know some people prefer to reach customer support that way. Now, according to online casino reviews made by other players, Casino Las Vegas tends to be unresponsive especially when it comes to issuing withdrawals. It’s also been blacklisted by several major review sites which doesn’t spell responsible gambling.

You’d think that with a name like Casino Las Vegas, this would be one of the best online casinos but the reality couldn’t be further from the truth. This is far from being an excellent online casino.

While it does offer a good VIP system and a decent library of the table and live dealer games, everything else on the website is questionable at best. The online slots are all under one software provider, the bonuses are lacking require both the deposit and the bonus amount. The casino also doesn’t have a good reputation when it comes to withdrawing real money. Besides having trouble with withdrawing your own money, it also doesn’t help that almost every single country in the whole world is restricted from creating an account.
