Editorial Policy and Affiliate Disclosure

How Casino Bros researches, fact-checks, dates and corrects its pages, how affiliate links through /check-out/ work, and what money can and cannot buy here.

This page explains the rules our writers work to: where facts come from, how they are checked, what the dates on a page mean, how we earn money and how we fix mistakes. It replaces our old Ad Disclosure note, which said too little.

Who writes and who checks

Reviews and guides are published under the bylines described on our About page. Each refreshed money page has one byline as author and a different byline named as reviewer, so two sets of eyes see it before it goes live.

Fact-checking

Before a refreshed page is published, every checkable claim on it (licence numbers, regulators, bonus amounts and wagering, payment limits, legal statements, dates) is checked against live sources. When a claim cannot be confirmed, we remove it or say where it comes from. We rank sources like this:

  1. Regulators, registers and laws
  2. The casino’s own terms, bonus rules and cashier pages
  3. Game studios’ rules and RTP sheets
  4. Trade press, for dates and context only

The sources behind each page are listed at the bottom of it.

What the dates mean

  • The “Updated” date changes only when the content of a page has really been revised, not when a year in the title rolls over.
  • Offers and rules that change are dated in the text, for example “as of October 2026”.
  • Older pages that have not yet been re-checked keep their older date, so you can see which pages are fresh.

Affiliate disclosure

Casino Bros earns money through affiliate links. Buttons that point to an address starting with /check-out/ take you to a casino through a tracking link. If you open an account or deposit, the casino or its affiliate programme may pay us. Some deals pay a one-off fee, others a share of what the casino earns from referred players.

Money can affect Money cannot affect
Which casinos we choose to feature A casino’s score
The order of casinos with similar scores Licence details, warnings and regulator actions we print
Whether a page has a list at all Whether a casino that refuses a country’s players is listed for that country

You pay nothing extra for using our links, and the bonus is the same one the casino shows its own visitors. We do not accept paid reviews, paid scores or paid removals of criticism.

Independence

Casinos do not see our reviews before publication and cannot approve them. If an operator shows us with evidence that something is wrong, we correct it, the same as for any reader.

Corrections

Found an error? Email [email protected] with the page address, the sentence you think is wrong and, if you have one, a source. We check it against the primary source. If the page was wrong, we fix it, update its date and add a short dated note saying what changed. Typos are fixed without a note. We never delete a warning because a casino asked us to.

No promises of winning

We explain house edge, wagering and RTP as they are. No strategy or bonus beats the house edge over time, and we will not tell you otherwise. If gambling stops being fun, see our responsible gaming page.

Frequently asked questions

It is an affiliate link. It sends you to the casino through a tracking link so the casino can tell we referred you, and it may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra.

Do casinos approve your reviews?

No. Casinos do not see reviews before publication and cannot approve or edit them. They can report factual errors with evidence, like any reader.

Why do some pages show an older Updated date?

The date only changes when the content is actually revised. Pages that have not been re-checked yet keep their older date.

Meet the crew

Ace, Deuce, Dee, Reels, Scout and Timeout are our illustrated guides. Reviews are written and fact-checked by the real authors named on every page.
