Betfair’s Irish regulatory evidence contains two different businesses and activities: a remote-betting record shared with Paddy Power, and a separate betting-intermediary record. Neither record should be described as blanket permission for the casino product.
Evidence checked: 23 October 2026. Republic of Ireland, 18+. This is a source-based review, not a funded-account or withdrawal test. A directory position is not proof of Irish casino authorisation.
Two Irish records, different roles
PPB Counterparty Services Limited is recorded for Remote Betting with Betfair and Paddy Power as trading names. Separately, Betfair International plc is recorded for Remote Betting Intermediary under reference GRAI-1074-RBI-26-0001, with Betfair Exchange as its trading name. The distinction matters because the operator taking a bet and the business providing an exchange facility have different licensed roles. It is not a pair of casino licences. Check the current GRAI register.

Find the casino agreement rather than the exchange rules
For casino play, start with Betfair’s general terms and the conditions for the selected gaming product. Exchange commission, sports settlement rules or a sportsbook welcome reward do not establish the rules for casino balances. Identify the company responsible for gaming, its regulator reference and the agreement for an Irish resident before funding that product.
No current Irish casino welcome promotion confirmed
This review has not independently verified a current Irish Betfair casino reward, so it does not quote a bonus amount, spins or code. If an offer appears in your account, check whether it is for casino, sports betting or the exchange. Save the qualifying action, permitted games, wagering base, maximum stake and expiry. Do not assume that a promotion from Paddy Power transfers because one remote-betting record names both brands.
Our assessment for an Irish account
Betfair offers a useful example of why an Irish casino review must separate company, activity and product. The current betting records can be verified precisely, while the casino agreement and any local campaign require their own evidence. Check the appropriate complaint route in that agreement if a question concerns gaming rather than an exchange bet.
Compare the Irish brand evidence directory, read the Irish bonus-terms guide and keep any play within a spending and time limit you set in advance. For confidential Irish support, visit GamblingCare.ie.
