My dawgs, I’ve got a confession to make. I snatched this casino review from my broette, Lilly. Yeah, she was supposed to write this but when your boy Derrick heard the casino name, a sea of nostalgia took over and I seized this one like a playground bully.

Well, jokes on me. Although this casino does have a Wild West theme, it has almost nothing to do with Lucky Luke. Now I love to do more and more online casino reviews and also buy an apology dinner for Lilly. Karma never fails to strike. Don’t worry dawgs, I know you came here for a Lucky Luke Casino review, and I shall provide.

Casino Review Details

Lucky Luke Casino was found in 2019 and is part of the GnG Affiliate group. The site is owned and run by Mountberg Limited. It also has the Curacao license, which deserves a toot, but you already know that. What most of you probably don’t know is that your boy Derrick is a big fat nerd for Lucky Luke. I used to read comics, watch cartoon and even dress my dumb-ass self like Lucky Luke.

You know, despite being aimed at kids, there was A LOT of gambling in Lucky Luke. Like, the more I think about it, the more I can’t believe how much Lucky Luke prepared me for this career. Having a Lucky Luke themed casino makes absolute sense, so why didn’t the owners take advantage of this, dawg?

Sure, there are cowboys around and they spew wild west references when they explain the bonuses but, other than the casino name, the casino has nothing to do with Lucky Luke. This made little kid Derrick sad but the adult Derrick still has a job to do.

While the theme is a bust, the casino website itself is OK. It’s easy to navigate and teeming with bright colors, which is great. If it wasn’t for the name, I’d dig the generic cowboy casino.

Now, something I have to praise Lucky Luke Casino for is its DOs and DON’Ts list. It’s pretty much an FAQ written in an easily digestible format. Here they say that you shouldn’t take bonuses if you don’t agree with their conditions or how you have to be of legal age, how you shouldn’t open multiple accounts, etc. Basically, all the boring stuff you would have to go looking for in the T&C, you can find here. If you dawgs plan to play here, check it out, it’s a lot of fun to read.

TL;DR: Good-looking casino but #NOTMYLuckyLuke.

Country Restrictions

Incoming MEGA-OBVIOUS JOKE. This town ain’t big enough for players from these countries:

  • The United States of America, Us Minor Outlying Islands, US Virgin Islands, Czech Republic, Afghanistan, Albania, Anguilla, Angola, British Virgin Islands, Hong Kong, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Indonesia, Cambodia, Kuwait, Laos, Malta, Myanmar, Namibia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Philippines, Spain, Sudan, Taiwan, Syria, South Korea, North Korea, Venezuela, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.

Lucky Luke Casino Bonuses

Seriously, Lucky Luke Casino? I get it that you couldn’t get the official license but are you telling me that you couldn’t name some of the bonuses after the Dalton brothers? What a wasted opportunity, dawg.

Fine, let’s take a look at what bonus offers we have on this site. Honestly, it’s not bad. There’s a three-part casino sign-up bonus, a Wednesday-specific bonus, a cashback, and a few tournaments. That’s not really a lot to be the guy who shoots faster than his shadow but it’s good enough to be a Sheriff.

Welcome Bonus

For your first deposit bonus, you get to choose one of three:

  • The Fair Deal – 120% deposit bonus (Minimum deposit €10) Max. €120
  • The Adventurer – 200 Free Spins (Minimum deposit €10) – games available: Book of Dead, Valley of the Gods 2, Spinfinity Man
  • VIP Pass –  Deposit €300 and get €400 in bonus money + 15 Days of VIP status

Wagering requirements: (D+B) x 35

For the second deposit bonus, you’ll get 50 free spins for the games: Golden Fortune, The Owl of Athena, or Book of Dead. The only catch is that you have exactly 24h to claim this offer from the moment you make your very first deposit.

This just rubs me the wrong way. Putting a time limit on a regular bonus is just wrong. The real Lucky Luke wouldn’t stand for this.

For the third deposit bonus, you’ll get 100 free spins on Medusa Fortune and Glory, The Hive, and Book of Dead. You’ll also only have 24h after the second deposit before this becomes invalid. Seriously, did Billy the Kid make this decision? Having a time limit on these bonuses is just the worst.

The Wednesday Dilemma

Now that welcome bonus was a mixed bag so hopefully, the rest of the bonuses will be a little better. Each Wednesday you can choose either free spins or a deposit bonus if you put in some real money into the casino.

  • 30% deposit bonus (bonus amount up to €300)
  • 60 free spins (Avatars Gateway Guardians, FruitZen, Greta Goes Wild)

Wagering requirement: (D+B) x 35

The Monday Cashback

If you want the definition of “vague” look no further than the Monday cashback, dawg. Supposedly each Monday, you can get some of your losses back if you are rank “Saloon Bartender” or higher.

So how much do you actually get? Nobody knows. It’s calculated based on your deposits, withdrawals, and current balance. There’s no percentage or a set amount. It’s the equivalent of the casino saying: “There, there, don’t feel so bad. I’ll give you some of this money back next Monday… maybe.”

VIP Program

It’s at this point that I realized that I may have had my expectations too high when I decided to do this Lucky Luke Casino review. Lucky Luke is, honestly, more of a desperado than the hero of the West. Even though I’ve already been seeing red flags during this review, the VIP and the Gamification just scream there’s trouble a-brewing.

Casino Lucky Luke does have a VIP system, however, it won’t tell you how it works unless you make an account and see for yourself.

The online casino also has its own battle pass called West Quest. Here you get daily quests and missions on what games to play and how much you can spend at the casino.

The thing is, you have to unlock West Quest by “reaching the bank”. You’ll have a progress bar that will slowly fill up as you are playing games and spending real money at the casino and when you fill it up/reach the bank, you’ll unlock West Quest. Think of it as a premium battle pass as you would get in games like Fortnite. You can unlock West Quest for free or you can pay (about €15 to reach it instantly).

In West Quest, you can play as Lucky Lucy (or NOT-Lucky Luke) and make your way through the board by completing premium missions all while collecting rewards such as free spins and deposit bonuses.

BUT HEY, THAT’S JUST A THEORY!

While everything I wrote above is probably true, I can’t say for sure because the casino doesn’t explain it very well. In fact, Nowhere in the T&C does it explain how any of this works. You have to create an account to get all the details and see how it functions.

What’s the matter, Lucky Luke? You yellow? You trying to hide something?

It sure looks that way. Even getting details about the best casino deposit bonuses was a nightmare but unless you make an account and experience it yourself, you won’t have a clue how the VIP program, the Bank, or West Quest work. I’ll say it again but the REAL Lucky Luke wouldn’t stand for this.

Free Spins

Well, at least I can write about free spins with some confidence. I already mentioned that you can get free spins through the welcome bonus (don’t forget about the 24h limit on the second and third deposit). You can also score some spins during the Wednesday Dilemma bonus.

You can also earn casino coins as you are playing games with real money and convert them into free spins or bonus money. I’d definitely go for the free bonus spins because the bonus money conversion is pretty bad.

Supposedly, you can also grab some free spins as you progress through West Quest.

Fun fact about the real Lucky Luke: He once went to a town called Poker Gulch where absolutely everyone, including children, gambled for everything. Heck, there was even a scene where the kid asked his mom “What’s for dinner?”, the mom said “Steak” and the kid was like “I call, show it”.

Casino Lucky Luke host a rich library of over 3000 games. They got everything you could expect from a modern online casino however, the game selection is a little messy. For example, they have categories for video slots, table games, megaways, jackpots but not for live games. What the heck, dawg?

Anyway, here are the software providers:

  • 1×2 Gaming, Asia Gaming, BF Games, Bet Games, Betixon, Betsoft, BigTime Gaming, Blueprint, Booming Games, Caleta, EGT Interactive, ELK Studios, Endorphina, EvoPlay, Evolution Gaming, Ezugi, Fazi, Felix Gaming, Fugaso, GameArt, Gamomat, Ganapati, Habanero, Hacksaw, Iron Dog Studio, Kalamba, Kiron, Leap Gaming, Maverick, Microgaming, Netent, Nolimit City, One Touch, Oryx, PG Soft, PariPlay, PlayPearls, Playson, PragmaticPlay, Red Tiger. Revolver Gaming. Salsa, Slotvision, Smartsoft, Spadegaming, Spinomenal, Swintt, Thunderkick, Tom Horn, Triple PG, Virtual Generation, Vivo Gaming, WooHoo, Yggdrasil gaming.

Slot Games

Another fun fact about Lucky Luke: In one of his adventures, he was asked to escort the creators of the very first slot machine – the One-armed Bandit – through Texas so they could show everyone how it worked. The last town they stopped at, seemed like a bust because it only had a single deck of cards. That town was Las Vegas.

Naturally, just like most popular casinos, slots are dominating the site, around 3000 of them to be exact. There are lots of great slots to play thanks to so many well-known game providers. Here are few selected games by your boy Derrick:

  • Lava Loca
  • Golden Owl
  • (My baby) Book of Dead

Table Games

More Lucky Luke fun facts: When people were caught cheating in the Lucky Luke series, they would get punished by getting dipped into a tar pit and covered in feathers after which they would leave town. In almost every single episode, someone was caught cheating at a table game. Seriously, if you want to know how people used to cheat at table games, Lucky Luke is rich with this trivia.

While cheating will get you banned, and possibly arrested, you are more than welcome to play some of the table games at Lucky Luke Casino. There are just over 100 table games to play. A bunch of roulette tables (thank you, thank you), lots of poker games and video poker, blackjack, baccarat, and even some other games like Super 6 and Ander Bahar. I can’t complain, dawgs.

Jackpot Games

As of writing this, there are currently 11 active jackpots, which is good because I hate it when casinos have like 50 of them. Jackpots have their own category so you can easily find them and you can view the current jackpot without clicking on the actual game (which reviewers like me, really appreciate).

Live Casino Games

The Live Casino section actually looks pretty-darn-good. Not only does Lucky Luke Casino have lots of live casino games to offer but they are all neatly organized in categories. You rarely see such organization in the Live-Casino games department. So, yeah, they’ve got categories for roulette, blackjack, game shows, poker, and even baccarat. They have at least 5 games in each category.

Mobile

Just like all new casinos, Lucky Luke Casino is very much mobile-friendly. Everything you can do on your PC, you can do from your mobile device. Coincidentally, everything you should be able to do on your PC but can’t, you also can’t do on your mobile device. More on that later.

I had no trouble accessing the casino through my Samsung and I imagine that iOS users (and Windows phone users) won’t have much trouble either. Instant play is available. The casino doesn’t feature a new online mobile casino app, but I can live without it.

Lucky Luke Casino Payment Methods

I actually really like what they did with the payment options. Depending on where you are located, only the payment methods that are available in your region will be shown. I like how the casino shows you exactly what you can use to deposit and withdraw real money. Fortunately, I was able to find a full list of all available methods.

Customer Support

You know, Lucky Luke did make some mistakes in his adventures. He would often walk into a trap and get captured by the bad guys only to be rescued by his horse or companions. I learned how important it is to scout out a suspicious-looking place before going inside (and becoming a member).

If you need more proof of how suspicious Lucky Luke Casino is, the Casino support should be all the proof you need. Basically, they have “cowboys” who are working 24/7 to solve any problem or answer any question. I wanted to speak with one of these cowboys but seeing how I was a new stranger in a strange town. They didn’t want to speak with me. Basically, they only speak with registered casino players. Are you kidding me, dawg?

Never in all my life have I seen an online casino that has live chat support only available to registered players. Seriously, what are you trying to hide, Lucky Luke Casino?

So if you want to talk to the live chat support, you gotta create an account using a valid email address, click the link of the activation email, log in, and only then will you get the privilege to speak with Lucky Luke’s cowboys. And here I was complaining that live chats at online casinos have long waiting times!

Needless to say, this is unacceptable, dawg. The live chat should be available to everyone, especially new unregistered players who are curious about stuff. Not everyone will be willing to blindly give out their e-mail like me, dawg.

Available Languages

Lucky Luke Casino speaks only two languages: English and French.

Lucky Luke Casino Review Summary

When I stole the opportunity to review Lucky Luke Casino from Lilly, I thought that I was going to relive my childhood fantasy. Instead, now I regret a bit that I reviewed Lucky Luke Casino. It’s kind of like learning that your favorite actor is a sex offender.

While the casino looks fine and has a lot of great games, everything else about makes me a bit uneasy and suspicious. The casino doesn’t explain many of its features, doesn’t allow people to talk to the live chat (unless they are registered), and has timed bonuses. Way too many red flags, dawg.

Lucky Luke, more like Shady Smith or Suspicious Steve or (just one more)… Distrustful David (that’s the winner).

Overall, if Lucky Luke wants your boy Derrick’s seal of approval it will have to do a lot of work. As of now, I can’t recommend this casino 100%. Only time will tell if that’s about to change. As always, we got you, Bro!

Despite being rough trade, Derrick prefers to use sarcasm over fists because the parts of Atlanta he grew up in still consider it witchcraft. A.k.a. The Buff Dude, he’s a sucker for roulette, a total video game geek, and a beast when it comes to online casino security. We mainly hired him because he is scary AF but don’t tell him we said that.
