The best Bitcoin casinos for international players in October 2026, on our checks, are Wildzy, Smash Casino, Kingdom Casino, Aphrodite Casino and Wino Casino: all five list crypto as a deposit method, hold Anjouan licences, and run slots welcome packages with 10x to 25x wagering labels. Every one of them shares a weakness you should know up front, a withdrawal cap of €1,000 a day and €10,000 a month, so they suit regular-stakes players far better than high rollers.
The Casino Bros like crypto for the same reason everyone does: deposits land in minutes and nobody asks your bank’s opinion. We like it less when people skip the small print. So this list is short on purpose. Instead of padding it to a round number, we include only casinos whose crypto option, licence and terms we could check, and the rest of the page explains the parts that decide your experience: how deposits and payouts really work, what the bonus wagering costs, what a licence from Anjouan or Curaçao does and does not do for you, and how tax treats crypto you gamble with.
Not for players in the UK, the US, Australia or Ontario. The casinos below also exclude France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Sweden and Cyprus in their terms, and none is registered with iGaming Ontario. An offshore licence does not make a casino legal where you live, so check your own country’s rules before you deposit. Offers were seen on 8 October 2026; amounts and currency can differ by country.
Featured placement: Winna appears first and CobraCasino last. These positions are separate from ratings. Featured cards do not establish a match for a specific bonus, deposit method, game, provider or local licence; check each review and its restrictions.

Who This Page Is Not For
Crypto casinos licensed offshore are a poor or unlawful choice for many readers. Please skip this list if any of these apply to you:
- UK residents. Only casinos licensed by the Gambling Commission may serve British players, and the casinos below exclude the UK in their terms. Use a UK-licensed site, where you also get the 10x wagering cap that has applied to bonuses since 19 January 2026.
- Anyone in the United States. Online casinos are legal only in states that license them: eight states have legalised online casinos and seven markets are live (NJ, PA, MI, WV, CT, DE, RI), while Maine’s tribal-only market has not launched. Offshore sites hold no state licence, and the casinos below exclude the US.
- Australians. Offering online casino games to Australians is an offence for the operator under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. Australian readers will find local information in our Australian crypto casino guide.
- Ontario residents. The province runs a regulated market through iGaming Ontario, and none of these casinos is registered there.
- Players in India. Since 2025 the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits online money games, including real-money casino play, and bars payment providers from processing them.
- Seven more European countries. France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Sweden and Cyprus are all excluded by the listed casinos’ terms.
- Crypto beginners. Sending coins on the wrong network or to the wrong address cannot be undone. Practise with a small amount between your own wallets first.
- High rollers. A €1,000 daily cap means a €10,000 win takes at least ten days to cash out under these casinos’ terms.
If you are still with us, you are most likely in Canada outside Ontario, New Zealand, Ireland or another country the casinos accept. New Zealand readers should note that the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 sets up a licensed market of up to 15 operators, with the Department of Internal Affairs expecting to issue licences from early 2027.
How We Picked These Bitcoin Casinos
We started from the casinos we work with and kept only those that met every test below, checked in October 2026:
- Crypto deposits shown by the casino itself. Each casino’s deposit-methods strip lists “Crypto” alongside cards and wallets, and the shared terms set rules for crypto deposits and withdrawals.
- A licence we could check. All five hold Anjouan licences listed on the Anjouan Gaming register.
- Accepts international players. The terms (last updated 2 July 2026) do not restrict Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, India or South Africa, though Indian law now prohibits real-money online casino play for its residents.
- Published wagering. Every slots welcome package shows a wagering label per deposit on the promotions page.
- No known regulator action against the brand in its live markets that would make it unsafe to list. We say below where a regulator in an excluded country has acted.
Three of our other partner casinos (Trixino, Lucki Casino and Slottio) did not make this list because their public payment strip does not show a crypto option, even though their terms mention crypto deposits. Older crypto brands we used to list have closed, changed hands or stopped accepting international players, so they are gone too.
All five casinos are commercial partners: we may earn a commission when you sign up through our links, and that never changes the offer you receive. Full reviews of them are still to come, so they carry no star ratings. Our ranking puts the lowest wagering labels first, then the extras that matter to crypto players.

Shared rules across all five (general terms, last updated 2 July 2026): minimum withdrawal €100 for bank, e-wallet or crypto; maximum €1,000 a day and €10,000 a month; identity checks on the first withdrawal; winnings from a deposit bonus capped at 25x the bonus unless the offer says otherwise; one active bonus at a time. The promotions pages do not publish the minimum deposit, the maximum bet, the expiry, or whether the wagering applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus. None of the welcome packages includes free spins.
1. Wildzy: Biggest First-Deposit Match
Wildzy’s slots package is worth up to €10,000 over four deposits, but the detail that stands out is the first stage: 200% up to €1,000, twice the €500 first-deposit cap at its sister sites. The four stages are 200% up to €1,000, 100% up to €2,000, 100% up to €4,000 and 200% up to €3,000, each with a 10x wagering label.
After the welcome stages, weekly reloads run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, each up to €1,000. The lobby lists 53 slot providers and 12 live-casino providers; studios named include Play’n GO, Hacksaw, Relax Gaming, ELK, Playtech, BGaming and Spribe, the maker of the crash game Aviator. There is a sportsbook as well.
Crypto notes: crypto appears in the deposit-methods strip, but the coins on offer are not listed on public pages, so open the cashier after registering to see which coins and networks it supports before you send anything. Accounts are in EUR only, so crypto deposits are converted to euros on arrival.
Watch out for: the brand’s older domain, wildzy.io, was named in a 2025 Swedish ban against its then-operator. The brand now runs under a different company and excludes Sweden in its terms. No licence number is displayed on the site, so we describe it simply as Anjouan-licensed.
Suits: players making one larger first deposit who want the most bonus on it with a low wagering label.
2. Smash Casino: Low Wagering Plus Live and Sports Packages
Smash Casino pairs a 600% slots package up to €10,000 over five deposits with a 10x wagering label on every stage: 200% up to €500, 100% up to €2,000, 50% up to €1,500, 150% up to €2,000 and 100% up to €4,000. If you prefer the live tables or sport, you can take a live casino package of 300% up to €2,250 (25x) or a sports package of 250% up to €5,000 (5x) instead.
Canadian accounts can use CAD according to the operator’s country settings, which saves a conversion step if you cash out to a Canadian method. The game library uses the same broad studio list as its sisters, with live dealer tables and a sportsbook.
Crypto notes: crypto is listed among deposit methods; coins are shown only in the cashier.
Watch out for: the operator behind Smash, Kingdom, Aphrodite and Wino was banned by Sweden’s regulator in July 2026 for offering games to Swedes without a licence, and Australia’s ACMA has warned the same operator over brands aimed at Australians. Neither country is a market these casinos accept today, but it tells you the group has pushed into restricted markets before. Never use a VPN to get around a casino’s country rules: it breaks the terms and puts any winnings at risk.
Suits: players who switch between slots, live tables and sport and want a low wagering label on the slots side.
3. Kingdom Casino: 10x Across Four Deposits
Kingdom Casino’s slots package reaches €9,500 over four deposits: 200% up to €500, 100% up to €2,000, 100% up to €4,000 and 200% up to €3,000, all labelled 10x. It is the shortest low-wager package on this list, which suits players who do not want to commit to five or six deposits to see the full value.
Weekly reloads on Monday, Wednesday and Friday run up to €1,000 each. CAD is available for Canadian accounts. The lobby covers the same studios as the other casinos here, plus live tables and a sportsbook.
Crypto notes: crypto is offered as a deposit method; check coins and networks in the cashier.
Watch out for: the same operator-level history as Smash Casino. Kingdom was one of the two sites the Swedish regulator cited as evidence in its July 2026 decision.
Suits: regular players who like steady weekly reloads after the welcome package.
4. Aphrodite Casino: Biggest Live Casino Welcome
Aphrodite’s slots package is the largest by percentage on this list, 700% up to €7,000 across five deposits (200% up to €500, 100% up to €1,500, 100% up to €2,000, 150% up to €1,000, 150% up to €2,000), but its 25x wagering label makes it heavier to clear than the 10x offers above. The alternative live casino package, 300% up to €2,250 at 25x, is the main reason to pick Aphrodite if you mostly play live tables.
The lobby lists 53 slot providers and 12 live-casino providers. CAD is available for Canadian accounts.
Crypto notes: crypto appears in the deposit methods; coins are only shown in the cashier.
Watch out for: the 25x label. On a €100 bonus, 25x the bonus means €2,500 of play; if it applies to deposit plus bonus, €5,000. Run the numbers in the bonus section below before you opt in.
Suits: live casino players who want a dedicated welcome package.
5. Wino Casino: Best for Sports Plus Casino
Wino’s slots package is 600% up to €10,000 over five deposits (200% up to €500, 100% up to €1,500, 100% up to €3,000, 50% up to €2,000, 150% up to €3,000), labelled 25x. The standout is the sports package, 300% up to €3,000 with a 5x label, the lightest wagering of any package on this page.
Slot reloads run Monday, Wednesday and Friday, up to €1,500. CAD is available for Canadian accounts.
Crypto notes: crypto is listed among deposit methods; coins are shown in the cashier.
Watch out for: the same operator history as Smash, Kingdom and Aphrodite, and a 25x label on the casino side.
Suits: bettors who want a crypto-friendly sportsbook and casino in one account.
Crypto-First Alternative We Have Reviewed: BitStarz
If moving large amounts of crypto is your priority, the daily cap above will frustrate you. BitStarz, one of the longest-running crypto casinos (online since 2014), is the obvious comparison: our BitStarz review found a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence (OGL/2024/165/0185), 12 coins in the cashier with no casino fees, and crypto withdrawals of up to €50,000 per transaction. Its welcome package is up to €500 or 5 BTC plus 180 free spins over four deposits, with 40x wagering and a €5 maximum bet. It is not a partner casino and it also excludes the UK, the US and many other countries, so read its restricted list in the review first.
How to Deposit Bitcoin at an Online Casino
- Get your coins. Buy BTC or a stablecoin on an exchange you trust, or use a wallet you already hold. Expect identity checks at any regulated exchange.
- Register and verify early. Sign up at the casino and complete identity checks before depositing, because these casinos check ID before the first withdrawal anyway.
- Set limits. Add a deposit limit in the account settings while you are thinking clearly.
- Open the cashier and pick the coin and network. The casino shows a deposit address, often with a QR code. For tokens such as USDT, the network (for example TRC-20 or ERC-20) must match exactly.
- Copy the address with the copy button, then check the first and last few characters against what you pasted. Clipboard-hijacking malware exists.
- Add a memo or tag if the casino shows one. Coins such as XRP need a destination tag; leaving it out can strand the deposit.
- Send a small test first if you are new to the casino, then the main amount.
- Wait for confirmations. Bitcoin blocks arrive about every 10 minutes on average, and casinos wait for one or more confirmations, so 10 to 60 minutes is normal. Faster networks credit in seconds or minutes.
- Decide on the bonus before you play. Some casinos need you to opt in at deposit time.
How Crypto Withdrawals Work at These Casinos
Withdrawals are where crypto casinos differ most, and where the shared terms of our five picks matter:
- Identity checks on the first withdrawal (terms section 6.1). Crypto does not make you anonymous at a licensed casino.
- Deposits must be wagered at least once before a withdrawal; otherwise the casino can refuse it (section 6.5). This is an anti-money-laundering rule common across the industry.
- Minimum €100 per withdrawal; maximum €1,000 a day and €10,000 a month (section 6.13).
- Withdraw to a wallet you control. Sending to an exchange deposit address usually works, but some exchanges reject transfers from gambling sites or ask about them. The shared terms also require crypto deposits to use wallet credentials valid at the time of deposit.
Step by step: withdrawing crypto
- Finish or forfeit any active bonus. A withdrawal request with wagering still open can cancel the bonus and its winnings.
- Upload your documents if the casino has not verified you yet: photo ID and proof of address are standard.
- Choose crypto in the cashier, then the coin and network. Paste the address of a wallet you control and double-check it.
- Enter an amount between the €100 minimum and the €1,000 daily maximum.
- Wait for approval, then for the blockchain confirmation. Keep the transaction ID (hash) the casino gives you; it lets you track the transfer on a block explorer.
- Do not play the pending balance. Some casinos let you cancel a pending withdrawal and keep playing it, and that is how many wins disappear.
Worked example: cashing out a big win
Say you turn a €500 deposit into €12,000. Under a €1,000 daily cap, the fastest schedule is €1,000 a day. The €10,000 monthly cap means you can withdraw €10,000 in the first month and the remaining €2,000 the following month, so it takes at least 12 payout days spread over two calendar months. During that time your balance sits in the casino’s hands, and in your account, where it is easy to play it back. If you expect to chase five-figure wins, a casino with higher limits is the better tool; if you deposit €20 to €200 at a time, the cap will rarely bite.
Bonus Maths for Crypto Players
A wagering label of 10x looks small next to the 35x to 50x common elsewhere, but these casinos do not say whether the multiple applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus. The numbers below show both, using a slot with 96% RTP (4% house edge).
| Offer stage | Deposit | Bonus | Wagering if bonus only | Expected cost at 4% | Wagering if deposit + bonus | Expected cost at 4% |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 200% at 10x | €100 | €200 | €2,000 | €80 | €3,000 | €120 |
| 100% at 10x | €100 | €100 | €1,000 | €40 | €2,000 | €80 |
| 200% at 25x | €100 | €200 | €5,000 | €200 | €7,500 | €300 |
| 150% at 25x | €100 | €150 | €3,750 | €150 | €6,250 | €250 |
Read it this way: if the expected cost is smaller than the bonus, the offer has positive expected value; if it is larger, you are paying for extra playtime. A 200% bonus at 10x on the bonus only costs about €80 in expected losses for €200 of bonus money, which is a good deal. At 25x on deposit plus bonus, that same bonus costs about €300, more than the bonus is worth. Two limits still apply either way: bonus winnings are capped at 25x the bonus, and the maximum bet is not published, so ask support before playing big stakes with a bonus active. Our welcome bonus guide and casino bonus hub explain the other terms that matter, and the article on what to look for when picking bonuses has a checklist.
Bitcoin or Something Else? Choosing a Coin
A “Bitcoin casino” rarely takes only Bitcoin, and Bitcoin is not always the best coin to gamble with. The table summarises network costs and timings measured on 8 October 2026 for our crypto deposit guide; the casino’s own cashier decides which coins you can actually use.
| Coin (network) | Network fee, 8 Oct 2026 | Typical time to credit | Main catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin (BTC) | about $0.03 median, $0.32 average | 10 to 60 minutes | Slowest common option; price swings |
| Litecoin (LTC) | under $0.01 | 3 to 15 minutes | Price swings |
| USDT on Tron (TRC-20) | about $2.15 without staked energy | about 1 minute | Network must match exactly |
| USDT / USDC on Solana | under $0.01 | seconds | Fewer casinos support it |
| Ethereum (ETH) | about $0.10 (ETH) to $0.35 (ERC-20 token) | about 1 to 15 minutes | Costly when gas spikes |
| XRP | 0.00001 XRP | 3 to 5 seconds | Destination tag is mandatory |
| Dogecoin (DOGE) | about $0.01 to $0.04 | about 1 to 10 minutes | The most volatile price of the group |
Bitcoin still makes sense if you already hold it and want to keep any winnings in BTC. If you are buying coins just to gamble, a stablecoin on a cheap network or Litecoin usually costs less and moves less. Whatever you choose, the most expensive mistake is the wrong network, not the fee.
Crypto Deposit Problems and How to Fix Them
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit not credited after an hour | Not enough confirmations yet, or a low fee on a busy network | Look up the transaction ID on a block explorer; if it is still unconfirmed, wait |
| Confirmed on the blockchain but not in your balance | Amount below the casino’s minimum, or sent to an expired address | Send support the transaction ID, amount, coin and network |
| Token sent on the wrong network | For example USDT on ERC-20 to a TRC-20 address | Contact support at once; recovery is sometimes possible but never guaranteed, and fees may apply |
| XRP or similar missing | Destination tag or memo left out | Support can usually match it with the transaction ID, which takes time |
| Exchange refuses the withdrawal | The exchange blocks transfers to gambling sites or asks for wallet ownership details | Answer the exchange’s checks honestly, or use a self-custody wallet as the in-between step |
One habit avoids most of these: generate a fresh deposit address in the cashier for every deposit, and never reuse an address saved from weeks ago, because some casinos rotate them.
Check Any Crypto Casino Yourself in Ten Minutes
- Find the licence in the footer or terms and click through the seal. It should open a register page naming the casino’s domain.
- Read the restricted countries list in the terms. If your country is on it, stop there.
- Search the terms for “withdrawal” to find the minimum, the daily, weekly and monthly maximums, and any fees.
- Open the promotions page and note the wagering label, the cap on winnings and whether the base is bonus or deposit plus bonus.
- Look for a complaints route: the casino’s own complaints email, then the ADR body or regulator named in the terms.
- Ask live chat two questions before depositing: which coins and networks are supported, and the maximum bet while a bonus is active. Save the replies.
- Search independent complaint sites for the brand name plus “withdrawal”. A pattern of unpaid winnings is the biggest red flag there is.
Worked Example: 10x vs 25x Over a Full Package
Two players each deposit €100 on the first two stages of a package. At Kingdom Casino the first two stages are 200% up to €500 and 100% up to €2,000, both labelled 10x; €100 deposits bring €200 and €100 of bonus. Wagering on the bonus only is €3,000 in total, an expected cost of about €120 at 4% house edge, against €300 of bonus money.
At Aphrodite the first two stages are 200% up to €500 and 100% up to €1,500 at 25x, so the same deposits bring the same €300 of bonus but €7,500 of wagering, an expected cost of about €300. The bonus money is identical; the expected value is not. That is why we ranked the 10x casinos first, and why the label matters more than the headline percentage.
Volatility: The Price Risk Nobody Mentions
Once an account is held in euros, a crypto deposit is converted at the moment it arrives, so the coin’s price swings no longer affect your casino balance. The risk sits on either side of the casino: between buying the coin and depositing it, and between withdrawing and selling.
Imagine you buy 0.01 BTC when Bitcoin trades at $80,000 ($800), and it takes two days to get round to depositing. If the price falls 5% in that time, you deposit only $760 of value. The same happens in reverse after a withdrawal: a coin that drops 5% before you sell costs you 5% of your winnings. Over a 30-day window to 8 October 2026, Bitcoin’s price moved within a range of roughly 15%, according to our crypto deposit guide.
Stablecoins (USDT, USDC) avoid most of this because they track the US dollar. If the casino accepts them, they are usually the better choice for gambling deposits, with Bitcoin kept for people who want to hold Bitcoin anyway.
Fees: What Moving Crypto Really Costs
A casino may not charge a deposit fee, but three other costs apply:
- Exchange trading fees to buy and later sell the coin, often from about 0.1% to 1% each way depending on the platform.
- Exchange withdrawal fees, a flat amount per network that can be far higher than the real network fee.
- Network fees set by the blockchain. On 8 October 2026 a Bitcoin transfer cost about $0.03 at the median and $0.32 on average; Litecoin and stablecoins on low-fee networks cost a fraction of a cent to a couple of dollars.
On a $100 deposit, a 1% trading fee each way plus a $5 exchange withdrawal fee costs about $7, which is more than the house edge on a lot of play. Our guide to the best and worst cryptos for casino deposits compares fees and confirmation times for 11 coins.
What You Can Play at Crypto Casinos
The game lobby at a crypto-friendly casino looks much like any other, with a few additions:
- Slots from established studios, paid out in your account currency. Check each game’s RTP in its info screen; the same title can run at different RTP settings at different casinos.
- Crash games such as Spribe’s Aviator, which lists a 97% RTP. A multiplier climbs until it crashes, and you cash out before it does. Auto cash-out at a fixed multiplier is the sensible way to play them.
- Dice, mines and plinko-style “originals”, often provably fair, with RTP shown in the game.
- Live dealer tables streamed from studios: blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows. The five casinos above list 12 live-casino providers.
- Sportsbooks, offered by all five casinos above, with separate sports welcome packages at Smash, Aphrodite and Wino.
House edges do not change because you paid in crypto. A European roulette wheel keeps 2.70% whatever the currency, and a 96% RTP slot keeps 4%.
Provably Fair: What It Proves and What It Does Not
“Provably fair” games let you check each result yourself. Before the round, the casino commits to a secret server seed by publishing its hash (a cryptographic fingerprint). You add a client seed, a counter (the nonce) increases each round, and the result is calculated from all three. After you change seeds, the casino reveals the old server seed, and you can confirm that it matches the hash and produces the results you saw.
That proves the casino did not change a result after you placed the bet. It does not prove the game’s RTP is generous, and it does not apply to most slots. The slots at the casinos above come from studios such as Play’n GO, Hacksaw and Relax Gaming, which use certified random number generators instead, and live tables use real cards and wheels. Provably fair mechanics are mostly found in crash games, dice and “originals”; Spribe, whose games appear in these lobbies, builds provably fair verification into titles such as Aviator.
Wallet Security Basics
Most crypto gambling losses that are not caused by the games come from wallet mistakes. A few habits prevent nearly all of them:
- Know which kind of wallet you use. An exchange account is custodial: the exchange holds the keys and can freeze transfers. A self-custody wallet (an app or hardware device) gives you the keys and the full responsibility.
- Guard the recovery phrase. The 12 or 24 words that restore a self-custody wallet should live offline. Nobody legitimate, including casino support, will ever ask for them.
- Keep a separate gambling wallet holding only what you plan to play with. It makes budgeting simpler and limits the damage if anything goes wrong.
- Turn on two-factor authentication at the exchange, the casino and your email, using an authenticator app rather than SMS where possible.
- Use address whitelisting at your exchange, so withdrawals can only go to addresses you have approved in advance.
- Record every transfer. Date, coin, amount and value in your currency make tax returns and disputes straightforward.
Crypto Casinos vs Traditional Online Casinos
| Feature | Crypto casino (offshore) | Locally licensed casino |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit speed | Minutes, after blockchain confirmation | Instant by card, wallet or bank |
| Withdrawal speed | Often fast once approved, but subject to caps | Hours to days depending on method |
| Bonus wagering | Varies widely; 10x to 25x labels at the casinos above | Capped at 10x for UK licensees since 19 January 2026 |
| Player protection | Offshore licence, ADR routes vary | Local regulator, local self-exclusion schemes |
| Identity checks | Usually before the first withdrawal | Before you play, in the UK and most regulated markets |
| Price risk | Yes, outside the casino balance | No |
| Legal for you? | Depends entirely on your country | Yes, in the market it is licensed for |
If a locally licensed casino is available where you live, it is the safer default. Crypto casinos make most sense in countries without a local licensing system where offshore play is not prohibited for players.
EU and Irish Readers: MiCA and the Travel Rule
Readers in the EU, including Ireland, buy and move crypto under rules that changed recently. The Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 has applied in full since 30 December 2024, with transitional periods for existing providers ending by 1 July 2026, so exchanges serving you must now hold a MiCA authorisation. The transfer-of-funds rules in Regulation (EU) 2023/1113 (the “travel rule”) have applied since 30 December 2024 as well: for transfers above €1,000 between an exchange and a self-hosted wallet, the exchange must assess whether the wallet belongs to you. Expect extra questions when you move coins from a regulated exchange towards a casino, and answer them honestly; a frozen transfer costs more time than a short form.
What an Offshore Licence Does and Does Not Do
All five listed casinos hold Anjouan licences. Many crypto casinos hold a Curaçao licence instead. Here is what each means for you:
| Licence | Regulator | Complaint route | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anjouan (Comoros) | Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority | The authority does not handle complaints directly: file through the site’s licence seal, the operator has 30 days to respond (14 days for disputes about game outcomes), then an operator-paid alternative dispute resolution body | A basic licence with limited player recourse; check the seal ID on the register |
| Curaçao | Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA), under the national ordinance (LOK) in force since 24 December 2024 | The CGA does not mediate individual disputes: complain to the casino first, then to one of the 7 CGA-certified ADR bodies (list dated 31 August 2026) | Stricter than the old master-licence system; verify the licence at cert.cga.cw |
| Malta (MGA) | Malta Gaming Authority | The MGA stopped ruling on individual disputes on 1 April 2019; use an approved ADR such as eCOGRA | EU-based supervision; MGA casinos rarely offer crypto |
None of these licences makes play legal in a country that requires its own licence. They regulate the operator, not you. One more current detail: the CGA confirmed unauthorised access to its licensing portal on 17 and 22 September 2026, and says existing licences remain valid.
Crypto Gambling and Tax: The Main Cases
What follows is general information, not tax advice. The rules differ by country and depend on your circumstances.
- UK: betting and gaming winnings are not taxable for recreational players. Crypto is different: HMRC treats spending or exchanging crypto as a disposal for Capital Gains Tax, so using coins that have risen in value can create a gain, with an annual exempt amount of £3,000 for 2025-26.
- US: gambling winnings are taxable income, crypto or not. For 2026 the Form W-2G reporting threshold for slot winnings is $2,000, and gambling losses are deductible only by itemisers and are limited to 90% of losses from 2026. Crypto disposals can also create capital gains.
- Canada: casual gambling winnings are generally not taxable. Disposing of crypto, including spending it, can create a capital gain, of which one-half is included in income under the CRA guidance.
- Other countries: many treat crypto disposals as taxable events even where gambling winnings are tax-free. Keep a record of what you paid for coins and their value when you deposit and withdraw.
Red Flags at Crypto Casinos
- No licence information at all, or a seal that does not link to a register.
- Withdrawal “fees” or “taxes” you must pay before a payout is released. This is a classic scam pattern; legitimate casinos deduct fees from the payout or not at all.
- Bonus terms that are missing or change after you deposit.
- Pressure from “account managers” on messaging apps to deposit more or move funds to a new address.
- Brand-new mirror domains promoted in direct messages. Some legitimate casinos rotate domains, so always enter through a link you trust rather than one sent to you.
- Promises of guaranteed wins, “signals” or prediction bots for crash games. Results are random; the only guaranteed winner is the person selling the bot.
Bitcoin Casinos: Pros and Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Deposits arrive in minutes once confirmed | Transfers are irreversible; mistakes cost the full amount |
| Your bank is not involved in each payment | Coin prices move between buying, depositing, withdrawing and selling |
| Low-wagering welcome labels at the casinos above | Withdrawal caps of €1,000 a day at the casinos above |
| Crypto-specific games such as crash titles with provably fair checks | Offshore licences give weaker player protection than UK, US-state or Ontario licences |
| Accounts can sit in EUR or CAD, avoiding price swings while you play | Exchange fees can outweigh the savings on small deposits |
Crypto Casino Terms in Plain English
- Confirmation: a block added to the chain after your transaction. Casinos credit deposits after a set number of them.
- Network: the blockchain a token travels on. USDT exists on several, and the sending and receiving networks must match.
- Destination tag or memo: an extra number some coins need so the casino knows which account a deposit belongs to.
- Stablecoin: a token designed to track a currency such as the US dollar, for example USDT or USDC.
- Self-custody wallet: a wallet where you hold the private keys yourself, instead of an exchange holding them for you.
- Transaction ID (hash): the unique reference of a transfer, which anyone can look up on a block explorer.
- Server seed and client seed: the two inputs that decide a provably fair result; the casino reveals its seed afterwards so you can check.
- Wagering label: the number of times a bonus (or deposit plus bonus) must be staked before winnings can be withdrawn.
Play Safely
Crypto makes it easy to deposit at any hour, which is exactly why limits matter more here. Set deposit and loss limits as soon as you register, use reality-check reminders, and never deposit coins you were saving for something else. If gambling stops being fun, help is free and confidential: in the UK call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, in the US call 1-800-MY-RESET, in Ontario call ConnexOntario on 1-866-531-2600, and in New Zealand call the Gambling Helpline on 0800 654 655. Bitcoin Casinos FAQ
What are the best Bitcoin casinos in October 2026?
For international players, our picks are Wildzy, Smash Casino, Kingdom Casino, Aphrodite Casino and Wino Casino. All five accept crypto deposits, hold Anjouan licences and show 10x to 25x wagering on their slots packages. They are not for players in the UK, the US, Australia or Ontario.
Are Bitcoin casinos legal?
It depends on where you live, not on the payment method. In the UK, the US, Australia, Ontario and India, offshore crypto casinos are not a lawful option for residents. In some other countries players are not prohibited from using offshore sites. Check your local law before you deposit.
How long do Bitcoin casino withdrawals take?
Once approved, a Bitcoin payout usually confirms within about 10 to 60 minutes. The casino’s own approval and identity checks take longer, especially for a first withdrawal. At the five casinos above, withdrawals are capped at €1,000 a day and €10,000 a month.
Do I need to verify my identity at a crypto casino?
Usually yes. The casinos on this page check identity on the first withdrawal, and most licensed crypto casinos do the same. Crypto deposits do not make you anonymous.
Which crypto is best for casino deposits?
Stablecoins on low-fee networks and Litecoin are usually cheapest and avoid the worst price swings. Bitcoin is fine for larger deposits but can be slow and relatively costly for small ones on busy days.
Are crypto casino bonuses better?
Sometimes. The casinos above label their slots packages 10x to 25x, lower than the 35x to 50x common elsewhere, but they do not publish whether wagering applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus, and bonus winnings are capped at 25x the bonus.
What does provably fair mean?
The casino publishes a hash of its secret seed before each round, you add your own seed, and after the round you can check the result was calculated honestly. It proves results were not changed after betting, not that the game’s RTP is good.
Do I pay tax on crypto casino winnings?
It depends on your country. UK recreational gambling winnings are untaxed but crypto disposals can face Capital Gains Tax; US gambling winnings are taxable; Canadian casual winnings are generally not taxed but crypto disposals can create capital gains.
