Where Can I Find Free Parking on the Las Vegas Strip?

Which Las Vegas Strip casinos charge for parking in October 2026 and which are free: MGM, Caesars, Wynn, Venetian, Fontainebleau, TI and SAHARA rates and perks.

By John BrokowskiFact-checked by Lilly Von BroughUpdated 7 min read

Update (October 2026): free parking on the Las Vegas Strip now comes down to two resorts for everyone, Treasure Island and SAHARA, plus partial deals elsewhere. MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment charge $20 to $25 a day for self-parking at their Strip properties, Wynn and Encore charge $25 after three free hours, and Fontainebleau gives every visitor the first hour free. Nevada residents and higher-tier loyalty members still park free or for the first three hours at most resorts.

Las Vegas casinos used to treat parking as part of the welcome, on the logic that a parked car meant a guest who would eat, drink and play. Those days are mostly over. The list below is built from each operator’s own parking page, checked on 8 October 2026, so you know where to leave the car, what it costs and which loyalty card or licence gets it waived. Rates rise for special events (Allegiant Stadium, T-Mobile Arena and Sphere nights in particular), and resident discounts are often switched off on those nights.

Circus Circus We could not confirm Circus Circus’s current parking policy on its own website in October 2026. Check the signs at the garage entrance.

Strip Resorts That No Longer Exist

Older free-parking lists still name two resorts you cannot park at any more. The Tropicana closed on 2 April 2024 and was demolished in October 2024 to clear the site for the planned Athletics ballpark. The Mirage closed on 17 July 2024 and is being redeveloped as a Hard Rock resort. Our earlier version of this page also listed The Venetian, The Palazzo and Wynn as free; that is no longer true for ordinary visitors.

Free Parking Just Off the Strip

If you do not mind a short drive or rideshare to the Strip itself, off-Strip casinos are often the easiest free option. South Point, on Las Vegas Boulevard South, offers complimentary parking and is home to one of the best-value buffets in town (see our Garden Buffet review). Local news station 8 News Now reported in 2026 that Virgin Hotels Las Vegas had free parking, OYO Hotel & Casino gave the first three hours free and Westgate listed a $10 self-parking rate. Those are secondary reports, so confirm at the garage.

Tips for Cheaper Parking in Las Vegas

  1. Pick the right loyalty programme. MGM Rewards Pearl is the lowest tier that removes self-parking fees at twelve MGM Strip resorts. At Caesars you need Platinum.
  2. Use your Nevada licence if you have one. Locals get three free hours at most MGM, Caesars and Venetian garages, and full free parking at Fontainebleau, Resorts World (Nevada plates) and the STRAT.
  3. Park once, walk the block. An MGM 24-hour ticket gives in-out privileges across MGM’s Las Vegas resorts for hotel guests, so a single fee can cover several stops.
  4. Avoid event nights. Event pricing replaces normal rates and usually cancels resident discounts. MGM sells reserved event parking for Allegiant Stadium in advance.
  5. Do not lose the ticket. Lost-ticket fees are steep. Pay at a kiosk before you return to your car to speed up the exit, but if you are a Nevada resident claiming free hours at MGM, scan your licence at the exit gate instead.
  6. Weekdays are cheaper. MGM and Venetian rates rise on Friday; most Caesars rates rise from Thursday.

Saving on parking leaves more of the budget for the fun stuff. If that includes the tables, set a limit before you walk in.
