Who Runs KatsuBet: Licence and Ownership

This is the part of the review that changed the most. The KatsuBet footer and terms seen from European and New Zealand connections in October 2026 say the site is owned and operated by Saphirix Solutions SRL, a company registered in Costa Rica (registration number 3-102-933997, Los Yoses, San José), and that it “operates under license no. 0000091 issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission”. The current terms carry an effective date of 11 May 2026.

Visit the Canadian version of the site, though, and the footer names a different company: Kika Technology B.V., registered in Curaçao (no. 164980), licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under licence OGL/2023/147/0081. To add to the mix, KatsuBet’s FAQ still refers to an older Curaçao licence, 8048/JAZ2020-013, from the master-licence system that Curaçao replaced when its new gaming law (the LOK) took effect on 24 December 2024. The previous version of this review named Dama N.V. as the owner; that is no longer what the site says.

What this means for you: the company you contract with depends on where you sign up, so read the footer and terms on the version of the site you actually register on. For most international players outside Canada, that is Saphirix Solutions SRL and the Tobique licence.

What a Tobique licence does and does not give you

The Tobique Gaming Commission licenses online operators from Tobique First Nation territory in New Brunswick, Canada. It is a small, lightly resourced regulator compared with the Malta Gaming Authority, and its licences do not allow operators to serve players in regulated markets such as Ontario or the UK. KatsuBet itself bars Ontario and New Brunswick. We could not find an official public register entry confirming licence 0000091, so the licence details here come from KatsuBet’s own terms.

How to complain

1. Contact support by live chat or email. KatsuBet’s terms say complaints are handled by the support team and escalated inside the company if needed.
2. If you are not satisfied, KatsuBet names EGIS as its alternative dispute resolution body, operating under the Tobique Gaming Commission’s rules. Disputes go by email to [email protected].
3. KatsuBet’s complaints page also points to the AskGamblers complaints service.
4. Only the account holder can complain, and the casino’s server logs are treated as final evidence of game results, so keep your own screenshots and transaction records.

Section 2.4 of the current terms (effective 11 May 2026) lists the countries and regions whose residents cannot play for real money:

The terms add that players who break this policy are not entitled to refunds or withdrawals. On top of the hard list:

• No bonuses at all for players from Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, Sweden, Bangladesh, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Estonia, Pakistan, Belgium, Czech Republic, Syria, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Georgia, Hungary, Russia, Guam, Singapore, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Armenia and Vietnam. Bonus maths: what 35x and a €1 bet cap mean

Take a €100 first deposit that triggers a €100 match:

• Wagering needed: €100 x 35 = €3,500 in bets.
• At the €1 maximum bet, that is at least 3,500 spins within 14 days, or 250 spins a day.
• On slots with a 96% return to player, €3,500 of bets costs about €140 on average, so the typical session ends with less than the bonus.
• Go for the full €400 first-deposit match and the requirement becomes €14,000 of bets, or 14,000 spins at €1. That is 1,000 spins a day for two weeks.

The low bet cap is the real limit here. Larger deposits buy bigger bonuses on paper, but the €1 ceiling means the time needed grows with them. For most players, the first or second stage at a modest deposit is the realistic part of the package.
