MoonWin is blocked in Australia. ACMA, the federal regulator, named it on 11 December 2024 among the illegal offshore gambling sites it had asked Australian internet providers to block, and four MoonWin addresses are on ACMA’s published blocked list (moonwin4.com, moonwin5.com, moonwin6.com and moonwin7.com, checked 16 October 2026). We no longer recommend MoonWin to anyone in Australia. This review now covers what happened, what it means if you still have an account, and where to find casinos we review that do accept Australians.

Fair warning, Bros: this page has changed. Our old MoonWin review called it “trusted, reliable, regulated, licensed”. None of that matters once the regulator has blocked a site, so the rating and links are gone and the page now sticks to dated facts.

The casinos in the box at the top of this page are the alternatives we rechecked in October 2026: each accepts Australians and none is on ACMA’s blocked list. They are offshore sites without an Australian licence, so read their terms before you sign up. Why ACMA Blocked MoonWin

Australia does not license online casinos. Under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (IGA), offering online casino games or online pokies to people in Australia is an offence for the operator, and advertising them is banned as well. The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) enforces the Act, and one of its main tools is website blocking: it asks Australian internet providers to block sites it has found in breach. ACMA reported 1,822 sites blocked since November 2019, as of 24 September 2026.

MoonWin was part of the batch ACMA announced on 11 December 2024. The list now holds 4 addresses for the brand. That pattern usually means the casino keeps switching to fresh mirror domains as the old ones are blocked, and ACMA keeps adding the mirrors as it finds them. The block is not new: it dates back to December 2024, and our review should have caught up with it long before now.

A Site That Opens Is Not a Site That Is Allowed

Blocking is carried out by internet providers, not by the casino, so it does not catch every connection. If you see ACMA’s “website blocked” page, the domain is blocked. If you do not, your provider may not have applied the block yet, or you may have reached a mirror that is not on the list. Neither makes the casino legal to offer its games in Australia.

Do not use a VPN to get around a block or a casino’s country rules. Offshore casino terms routinely treat a disguised location as a breach and let the casino keep any winnings and close the account.

Already Have a MoonWin Account? What to Do

If you joined before the block, the aim is simple: stop the money going in, get any balance out, and keep a paper trail in case something goes wrong.

  1. Stop depositing. Any new deposit adds to the amount at risk, so switch off saved cards and auto top-ups too.
  2. Take screenshots of your balance, pending withdrawals, bonus status and transaction history, with dates.
  3. Deal with any active bonus. Bonus money usually locks your balance until wagering is complete. If you only want your cash, ask support in writing to cancel the bonus first.
  4. Get verification done early. Offshore casinos hold payouts until ID, address and payment checks clear, so upload clear copies once and keep a record of when you sent them.
  5. Mind the withdrawal caps. Our old review recorded limits of A$7,500 a week and A$30,000 a month. Check the current figure in the cashier before you request a large amount, because offshore casinos change these without notice, and a big balance may come out in instalments.
  6. Put the request in writing. Use live chat or email rather than phone, and save the transcripts.
  7. Know the dispute route. No Australian regulator, ombudsman or tribunal can order an offshore casino to pay. Our old review named a licence from Curaçao, 8048/JAZ 2020-013; if the casino still shows a licence in its footer, that regulator’s complaints process is the only formal route left. If you paid by card, ask your bank about its dispute process, but do not expect a chargeback to succeed on gambling losses you authorised.

BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, does not cover offshore casinos, so if you want out for good, ask MoonWin to close and exclude your account directly. For free, confidential support, Gambling Help Online is on 1800 858 858. Our responsible gaming page lists more services.

Our Old MoonWin Review, Corrected

For anyone comparing notes, these are the main points our previous MoonWin review made. They are recorded here as old claims; we have not rechecked them against MoonWin’s current pages, and they do not change its status.

  • Operator: Dama N.V.
  • Licence: Curaçao, 8048/JAZ 2020-013
  • Launched: 2023
  • Welcome offer: up to A$10,000 at 40x
  • Withdrawal limits: A$7,500 a week and A$30,000 a month
  • Verdict: Called it “trusted, reliable, regulated, licensed”

However the licence is described, it does not make MoonWin legal for Australians. No foreign licence permits online casino games or pokies to be offered here, and the block shows ACMA has found MoonWin in breach.

Where to Look Instead

Every brand on our Australian pages has to pass the same checks, and we rerun them regularly:

  1. None of its domains is on ACMA’s published blocked-websites list.
  2. The brand is not named in any of ACMA’s blocking releases.
  3. Its Australian lobby loads from an Australian connection and Australia is not on its restricted-country list.
  4. There is no “confirm you are outside Australia” declaration or similar trap in its pages.

The full reviews of OscarSpin, Nine Casino, Jet4Bet and Goldex explain what each one offers Australians and where the catches are. All four passed our October 2026 checks; all four are offshore. Our safer casino guide covers the warning signs, and the Australian reviews hub shows the status of every brand we have rechecked.

MoonWin FAQ

Is MoonWin blocked in Australia?

Yes. ACMA named MoonWin in its media release of 11 December 2024, and 4 of its domains are on the published blocked list (checked 16 October 2026).

Is it illegal for me to play at MoonWin?

The IGA offence belongs to the operator, not the player. But you have no Australian regulator to help in a dispute, access can disappear at any time, and the casino’s own terms may let it void winnings if you are in a restricted location.

How do I withdraw my money from MoonWin?

Stop depositing, screenshot your balance, cancel any active bonus, complete verification and request the withdrawal in writing, keeping within the cashier limits. Save every support transcript.

Is MoonWin licensed?

Our old review gave the licence as Curaçao, 8048/JAZ 2020-013, with the operator named as Dama N.V.. We have not rechecked that for this update, and no offshore licence makes online casino games legal to offer in Australia.

Which casinos can I use instead of MoonWin?

OscarSpin, Nine Casino, Jet4Bet and Goldex accepted Australians and were not blocked or named by ACMA when we checked in October 2026. All are offshore with no Australian licence, so read their reviews and terms first.

Where can I get help with gambling?

Call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858, any time, free and confidential. BetStop covers licensed Australian wagering providers only, so self-exclude with offshore casinos directly as well.
