We no longer recommend SlotLounge to Australian players, because ACMA has blocked it. The regulator’s media release of 17 September 2025 named SlotLounge among offshore casinos it had found breaching the Interactive Gambling Act, and two SlotLounge addresses are on ACMA’s published blocked list (slotlounge.com and slotlounge1.com, checked 16 October 2026). Below you’ll find the dated status, what to do with any money still in an account, and the casinos we have rechecked as alternatives.
This page used to read very differently, Bros. Our old SlotLounge review answered the licence question with “Yes”. That no longer holds for anyone in Australia, so we have removed the rating and our links and rewritten the page around what the regulator has published.
The casinos in the box at the top of this page are the alternatives we rechecked in October 2026: each accepts Australians and none is on ACMA’s blocked list. They are offshore sites without an Australian licence, so read their terms before you sign up. Why ACMA Blocked SlotLounge
Online casino games and online pokies cannot legally be offered to people in Australia. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 makes that an offence for the operator, not the player, and bans the advertising too. ACMA polices the Act, and when an investigation finds an offshore site in breach it asks Australian internet service providers to block it. By 24 September 2026 the regulator counted 1,822 illegal gambling and affiliate sites blocked since it began in November 2019.
SlotLounge was part of the batch ACMA announced on 17 September 2025. It is one of the more recent blocks, which is why the page has only now been rewritten.
If SlotLounge Still Loads on Your Connection
ACMA’s blocks are applied by each internet provider against specific addresses, and offshore casinos rotate between mirror domains, so a blocked brand can still open on some connections. That tells you nothing about whether it is allowed to serve you. It is not, and the risks below apply either way.
Using a VPN or picking another country at sign-up is a bad idea. Most offshore terms say a false location voids winnings, and you would be giving the casino a ready-made reason to refuse a payout.
Still Holding a Balance at SlotLounge?
If you signed up before the block and still have money there, focus on getting it out cleanly and on keeping records.
- Stop topping up. Every new deposit adds to what you could lose if the account is frozen.
- Screenshot everything: balance, active bonuses, pending withdrawals and your transaction history, with the date showing.
- Check whether a bonus is running. Withdrawing during wagering normally forfeits the bonus and its winnings, and some casinos block the withdrawal altogether. Ask support in writing to remove it if you just want your cash.
- Complete verification once, properly. Expect to send photo ID, proof of address and proof of payment. Send clear copies, keep the originals and note the date.
- Mind the withdrawal caps. Check the daily, weekly and monthly limits in the cashier or terms before you request a large amount, because a big balance may come out in instalments.
- Request the withdrawal in writing through live chat or email, and save every transcript.
- Know the dispute route. No Australian regulator, ombudsman or tribunal can order an offshore casino to pay. Our old review named a licence from Curaçao; if the casino still shows a licence in its footer, that regulator’s complaints process is the only formal route left. If you paid by card, ask your bank about its dispute process, but do not expect a chargeback to succeed on gambling losses you authorised.
BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, does not cover offshore casinos, so if you want out for good, ask SlotLounge to close and exclude your account directly. For free, confidential support, Gambling Help Online is on 1800 858 858. Our responsible gaming page lists more services.
Our Old SlotLounge Review, Corrected
Our earlier review made the following points. We list them so returning readers can see what has changed, not as a current description of SlotLounge, and we have not reverified them for this update.
- Operator: Hollycorn N.V.
- Licence: Curaçao
- Verdict: Answered the licence question with “Yes”
However the licence is described, it does not make SlotLounge legal for Australians. No foreign licence permits online casino games or pokies to be offered here, and the block shows ACMA has found SlotLounge in breach.
Casinos We Review That Accept Australians
Every brand on our Australian pages has to pass the same checks, and we rerun them regularly:
- None of its domains is on ACMA’s published blocked-websites list.
- The brand is not named in any of ACMA’s blocking releases.
- Its Australian lobby loads from an Australian connection and Australia is not on its restricted-country list.
- There is no “confirm you are outside Australia” declaration or similar trap in its pages.
The full reviews of OscarSpin, Nine Casino, Jet4Bet and Goldex explain what each one offers Australians and where the catches are. All four passed our October 2026 checks; all four are offshore. Our safer casino guide covers the warning signs, and the Australian reviews hub shows the status of every brand we have rechecked.
SlotLounge FAQ
Has ACMA blocked SlotLounge?
Yes. ACMA named SlotLounge in its media release of 17 September 2025, and 2 of its domains are on the published blocked list (checked 16 October 2026).
Can Australians legally play at SlotLounge?
The IGA offence belongs to the operator, not the player. But you have no Australian regulator to help in a dispute, access can disappear at any time, and the casino’s own terms may let it void winnings if you are in a restricted location.
Can I still get my money out of SlotLounge?
Stop depositing, screenshot your balance, cancel any active bonus, complete verification and request the withdrawal in writing, keeping within the cashier limits. Save every support transcript.
Is SlotLounge licensed?
Our old review gave the licence as Curaçao, with the operator named as Hollycorn N.V.. We have not rechecked that for this update, and no offshore licence makes online casino games legal to offer in Australia.
What are the alternatives to SlotLounge for Australians?
OscarSpin, Nine Casino, Jet4Bet and Goldex accepted Australians and were not blocked or named by ACMA when we checked in October 2026. All are offshore with no Australian licence, so read their reviews and terms first.
