Boomerang Casino Review: Blocked by ACMA (Status Update)

Boomerang Casino is blocked in Australia. ACMA, the federal regulator, named it on 8 February 2023 among the illegal offshore gambling sites it had asked Australian internet providers to block, and two Boomerang Casino domains are on ACMA’s published blocked list, including boomerang-casino.com (checked 16 October 2026). Why ACMA Blocked Boomerang Casino

Online casino games and online pokies cannot legally be offered to people in Australia. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 makes that an offence for the operator, not the player, and bans the advertising too. A Site That Opens Is Not a Site That Is Allowed

Blocking is carried out by internet providers, not by the casino, so it does not catch every connection. If you see ACMA’s “website blocked” page, the domain is blocked. If you do not, your provider may not have applied the block yet, or you may have reached a mirror that is not on the list. Neither makes the casino legal to offer its games in Australia.

Do not use a VPN to get around a block or a casino’s country rules. Offshore casino terms routinely treat a disguised location as a breach and let the casino keep any winnings and close the account.
