Disclosure We may earn a commission if you use our links. It never changes our ratings or the order of a list. Editorial policy

We no longer recommend Zoome Casino to Australian players, because ACMA has blocked it. The regulator’s media release of 21 June 2023 named Zoome Casino among offshore casinos it had found breaching the Interactive Gambling Act, and nine Zoome Casino domains are on ACMA’s published blocked list, including zoome.casino and zoome1.casino (checked 16 October 2026). Below you’ll find the dated status, what to do with any money still in an account, and the casinos we have rechecked as alternatives.

Fair warning, Bros: this page has changed. Our old Zoome Casino review described it as a fresh, Curaçao-licensed option for Aussies. We have pulled the rating and every sign-up link, and rebuilt the page from ACMA’s own records.

If you are looking for somewhere else to play, the casinos in the box above accepted Australians and were clear of ACMA’s list when we rechecked them in October 2026. They are offshore, so the usual cautions apply. Gambling Help Online is on 1800 858 858, 24/7, if you need to talk to someone.

What Happened to Zoome Casino in Australia

Here is the short version of the law. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 bans offering online casino games and online pokies to Australians, and Australia issues no licences for them, so every online casino that takes Australian players is offshore and outside the Act. ACMA, the regulator, investigates those sites and asks local internet providers to block the ones it finds in breach. As of 24 September 2026 it had blocked 1,822 since November 2019.

Zoome Casino was part of the batch ACMA announced on 21 June 2023. Goodman Casino was named in that release too, and its review carries the same status now. The list now holds 9 addresses for the brand. That pattern usually means the casino keeps switching to fresh mirror domains as the old ones are blocked, and ACMA keeps adding the mirrors as it finds them. The block is not new: it dates back to June 2023, and our review should have caught up with it long before now.

If Zoome Casino Still Loads on Your Connection

ACMA’s blocks are applied by each internet provider against specific addresses, and offshore casinos rotate between mirror domains, so a blocked brand can still open on some connections. That tells you nothing about whether it is allowed to serve you. It is not, and the risks below apply either way.

Using a VPN or picking another country at sign-up is a bad idea. Most offshore terms say a false location voids winnings, and you would be giving the casino a ready-made reason to refuse a payout.

If You Already Play at Zoome Casino

If you signed up before the block and still have money there, focus on getting it out cleanly and on keeping records.

  1. Stop topping up. Every new deposit adds to what you could lose if the account is frozen.
  2. Screenshot everything: balance, active bonuses, pending withdrawals and your transaction history, with the date showing.
  3. Check whether a bonus is running. Withdrawing during wagering normally forfeits the bonus and its winnings, and some casinos block the withdrawal altogether. Ask support in writing to remove it if you just want your cash.
  4. Complete verification once, properly. Expect to send photo ID, proof of address and proof of payment. Send clear copies, keep the originals and note the date.
  5. Mind the withdrawal caps. Our old review recorded limits of A$15,000 to A$45,000 a month depending on VIP level. Check the current figure in the cashier before you request a large amount, because offshore casinos change these without notice, and a big balance may come out in instalments.
  6. Request the withdrawal in writing through live chat or email, and save every transcript.
  7. Know the dispute route. No Australian regulator, ombudsman or tribunal can order an offshore casino to pay. Our old review named a licence from Curaçao; if the casino still shows a licence in its footer, that regulator’s complaints process is the only formal route left. If you paid by card, ask your bank about its dispute process, but do not expect a chargeback to succeed on gambling losses you authorised.

BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, does not cover offshore casinos, so if you want out for good, ask Zoome Casino to close and exclude your account directly. For free, confidential support, Gambling Help Online is on 1800 858 858. Our responsible gaming page lists more services.

Our Old Zoome Casino Review, Corrected

Our earlier review made the following points. We list them so returning readers can see what has changed, not as a current description of Zoome Casino, and we have not reverified them for this update.

  • Operator: Dama N.V.
  • Licence: Curaçao
  • Launched: 2022
  • Welcome offer: 250% up to A$2,500 plus 250 free spins
  • Withdrawal limits: A$15,000 to A$45,000 a month depending on VIP level
  • Verdict: Described it as a fresh, Curaçao-licensed option for Aussies

However the licence is described, it does not make Zoome Casino legal for Australians. No foreign licence permits online casino games or pokies to be offered here, and the block shows ACMA has found Zoome Casino in breach.

Where to Look Instead

Every brand on our Australian pages has to pass the same checks, and we rerun them regularly:

  1. None of its domains is on ACMA’s published blocked-websites list.
  2. The brand is not named in any of ACMA’s blocking releases.
  3. Its Australian lobby loads from an Australian connection and Australia is not on its restricted-country list.
  4. There is no “confirm you are outside Australia” declaration or similar trap in its pages.

The full reviews of OscarSpin, Nine Casino, Jet4Bet and Goldex explain what each one offers Australians and where the catches are. All four passed our October 2026 checks; all four are offshore. Our safer casino guide covers the warning signs, and the Australian reviews hub shows the status of every brand we have rechecked.

Zoome Casino FAQ

Has ACMA blocked Zoome Casino?

Yes. ACMA named Zoome Casino in its media release of 21 June 2023, and 9 of its domains are on the published blocked list (checked 16 October 2026).

Can Australians legally play at Zoome Casino?

The IGA offence belongs to the operator, not the player. But you have no Australian regulator to help in a dispute, access can disappear at any time, and the casino’s own terms may let it void winnings if you are in a restricted location.

Can I still get my money out of Zoome Casino?

Stop depositing, screenshot your balance, cancel any active bonus, complete verification and request the withdrawal in writing, keeping within the cashier limits. Save every support transcript.

Is Zoome Casino licensed?

Our old review gave the licence as Curaçao, with the operator named as Dama N.V.. We have not rechecked that for this update, and no offshore licence makes online casino games legal to offer in Australia.

What are the alternatives to Zoome Casino for Australians?

OscarSpin, Nine Casino, Jet4Bet and Goldex accepted Australians and were not blocked or named by ACMA when we checked in October 2026. All are offshore with no Australian licence, so read their reviews and terms first.
