Crown Coins Casino is a social sweepstakes casino operated by Sunflower Limited together with Stiarsia Ltd of Limassol, Cyprus. You play for fun with Crown Coins (CC), which you can buy but never redeem, and for prizes with free Sweeps Coins (SC), which can be redeemed once your account is verified and you hold at least 50 redeemable SC. The minimum age is 18, and its help centre (updated 3 August 2026) blocked six states entirely and limited four more to Crown Coins play only.
Crown Coins moves fast. In a single summer it renamed its sweepstakes currency in Indiana, wound down sweepstakes play in Maine and Tennessee, added trading-card packs, live bingo and sports predictions, and rebuilt half its help centre. That makes it a brand where the date on a fact matters as much as the fact. The Casino Bros crew read the operator’s own Terms, help articles and blog so this guide sticks to what Crown Coins itself publishes, with the date next to each figure. No score, no deal, no secret code from us.

Who runs Crown Coins Casino?
The Terms of Service (version 4.1, checked on 25 October 2026) name the operator as “Sunflower trading as Crown Coins Casino”. In the definitions, “we”, “us” and “Sunflower” mean Sunflower Limited of PO Box 5114, Fredericksburg, VA 22403-5514, and Stiarsia Ltd. of 1/95 Agias Fylaxeos, 3087 Limassol, Cyprus. The Terms add that Sunflower Limited and Stiarsia Ltd may appoint affiliated entities to handle tasks such as payments, and that an appointed entity can appear as the merchant of record on your card statement. On the Apple App Store, the seller of the CrownCoins Casino app is listed as Sunflower Ltd.
California is handled differently. When accessed from California on 25 October 2026, crowncoinscasino.com showed a separate Terms of Service (version 4.0, last updated 11 October 2026) from EMZE LLC of San Francisco, which defines its Territory as the State of California and describes Crown Coins, Subscriptions, Day Passes and social bingo, with no Sweeps Coins. In other words, Californians get a social-play product from a different company. The main Terms also exclude California from registering an account for the sweepstakes platform.
Like every sweepstakes casino, Crown Coins holds no US state gaming licence. It operates under the sweepstakes model: Crown Coins have no value, Sweeps Coins cannot be bought, and a free route to SC always exists. That model is only lawful where a state allows it, and the list of states that do not keeps growing. Our sweepstakes legal states guide tracks each ban with its date.
How Crown Coins works: CC, SC and the extra balances
Crown Coins splits play into two modes, and you switch between them with a toggle at the top of the game screen. A yellow banner means CC Mode; green means SC Mode.
- Crown Coins (CC) are the virtual currency for social play. You can win them, receive them free or buy them in packages. The Terms say they “do not have any real money value” and “cannot be redeemed for value”.
- Sweeps Coins (SC) are the sweepstakes entries. They are “provided for FREE as a complement when purchasing Crown Coins or through alternative entry methods”, in the words of the help centre. Winnings from SC play can be redeemed for prizes after account review and verification.
There is no conversion in either direction: you cannot turn CC into SC or SC into CC. If your CC run out, a pop-up in the lobby offers new coins so you can keep playing for free.
Recent features have added three more balances that are worth understanding before you play:
- Bingo Sweeps. Crown Bingo Live, hosted by Skywind on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, pays its sweepstakes events in Bingo Sweeps. They can be redeemed from a $5 minimum, spent on future bingo cards or used toward coin packages, but they cannot be played on slots or converted into SC.
- Cash Balance. Created by the Indiana changes (below) and by Crown Rips, the trading-card feature. When you sell a card from a Crown Rips pack, you receive 100% of its Fair Market Value as Cash Balance. Cash Balance is redeemed from a separate “Cash” option in the Redeem menu, on the CrownCoins site or the Crown Bingo site.
- Sweeps Crown Tickets (Indiana only). Explained in the state section.
How to sign up at Crown Coins
- Check your state. Residents of Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Washington cannot create an account. In Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine and Tennessee you can register but play in CC Mode only.
- Choose a registration method. Email, Apple, Google or Facebook. Pick carefully: the help centre says the method you register with becomes your login method from then on.
- Use your legal details. The Terms require your full name exactly as it appears on your government-issued ID, plus email, residential address and cell phone number.
- Verify your email. Click the link in the verification email; you will see “Your Email Has Been Verified”.
- Verify your phone. Enter a mobile number to receive a 6-digit SMS code. VOIP numbers, texting-app numbers and landlines are not accepted. The screen appears automatically the first time you open Buy, and the help centre says verification unlocks promotions and redemptions.
- Keep location on. Turn on the Location toggle in My Account and your device’s location services. VPNs and proxies can make you appear to be in a restricted state and block access.
- Claim the welcome bonus, which the help centre says is credited when you register.
Crown Coins is strict about duplicates. You may hold one account only, and the help centre says that if a CrownCoins account has already been created or accessed on a device, a new one cannot be created on that same device. Winnings and balances in duplicate accounts are forfeited.
Welcome offer, first-purchase deals and promo codes
The free sign-up bonus is 100,000 Crown Coins plus 2 free Sweeps Coins, according to the help article “Is there a welcome bonus available when signing up?” (updated 3 March 2026) and Crown’s own “Sign-Up Bonus” blog post (updated 2 August 2026). No code is needed; the coins are added when you register.
For buyers, the homepage on 25 October 2026 promised “A Minimum Of 150% Extra Coins On Your First Purchase!” The exact pack, price and free SC are shown in the store before you pay. For a sense of how SC bundles scale, Crown’s “What’s Crown Coins (CC)?” article (last updated 25 September 2025) listed these standard examples:
| Price | Crown Coins | Free Sweeps Coins |
|---|---|---|
| $1.99 | 40,000 | None |
| $4.99 | 100,000 | 5 |
| $9.99 | 200,000 | 10 |
| $19.99 | 400,000 | 20 |
| $49.99 | 1,000,000 | 50 |
| $99.99 | 2,000,000 | 100 |
That article is more than a year old, so treat the table as a guide to the structure (roughly 1 free SC per dollar on SC packs) rather than a current price list. Store offers, Wheel of Deals spins and the Crown Road premium pass all change the numbers you see.
Casino Bros holds no Crown Coins code and has no commercial arrangement with the operator. Crown’s own help article on promotions says it posts official offers only on its verified social channels, and warns that it “will never ask you for a fee or deposit to claim a prize or bonus”. Treat codes and “free SC” messages from anywhere else, especially DMs, as likely scams. Our sweepstakes no deposit bonus guide compares free sign-up offers across brands.
Referral bonus
Crown’s referral blog post (updated 16 October 2026) says that when a friend signs up through your link and makes a purchase of $14.90 or more, you receive 400,000 CC and 20 SC, claimed from the Invite Friends window under Rewards. The friend must be a genuine new player; referral rules sit in a separate Referral Bonus Policy.
Daily bonus and other free coins
Crown Coins has more free-coin routes than most rivals. The help article “How to Get Free & Bonus Coins” (updated 11 August 2026) lists them:
| Route | How it works |
|---|---|
| Daily Bonus | Claim once a day from Menu, Rewards, Crown Lounge, Daily Bonus; resets at 10:00 AM UTC; consecutive logins increase rewards |
| Milestone rewards | A 30-day bar filled by logins (not necessarily consecutive), with gifts on days 8, 15, 22 and 30 |
| VIP entry bonus | Paid each time you reach a new VIP tier |
| VIP monthly bonus | CC and SC on the same calendar date you reached your tier, available from 00:00 UTC |
| Birthday bonus | From Silver VIP rank, on the 1st day of your birthday month |
| Coinback | Bronze and above, every Tuesday at 9:00 AM UTC, based on the previous week’s spins (disabled in Indiana) |
| Daily Missions and Crown Race | Tasks in CC or SC Mode with a Grand Reward for completing all; reset at 10:00 AM UTC |
| Mini-games | PlinCrown, CrownMiner, LuckyWheel, ScratchCrown, CrownClaw, CrownPop, Triple Crown, Crown Rise, earned through missions, purchases or promotions |
| Crown Sports | Free sports predictions with streak rewards |
| Social media | Giveaways on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Discord and Reddit |
| Mail-in entry | The free alternative method of entry under the Sweeps Policy |
A tool called “Crownie” in the support menu (My Account, Support, Send a Message, Bonuses, Free Coins, Check Availability) checks whether complimentary coins are waiting for you; the help centre says it is the same check support agents use.
Daily Bonus amounts themselves are not published. Crown says only that rewards grow with consecutive logins, so the figure you see on the Daily Bonus page is the one that counts.
How the VIP bonuses work
Every player is enrolled in the VIP programme. Two details in Crown’s “VIP Monthly Bonus FAQs” catch people out. First, the monthly bonus arrives on the same calendar date you reached your current tier, at the 00:00 UTC reset, and stays claimable until the day before the next one is due; a timer in My Account counts down to it. Second, if you move up a tier before your monthly bonus lands, the old tier’s monthly bonus is not paid; you get the Level-Up Bonus for the new tier instead, and your monthly date moves to the day you levelled up. The amount is fixed by tier, not by last month’s play or purchases.
Separately, Dynasty players receive weekly “Dynasty Gifts” in the CrownCoins app, usually sent on Sunday afternoons from about 2 PM Eastern. Crown says these are not available to non-Dynasty players, even at higher VIP tiers, and that the amounts are not fixed but vary with recent activity, so they reward volume. Closing an account forfeits Dynasty status, and Crown says reinstating it is not guaranteed.
Crown Sports and the SC streak prizes
Crown Sports is a free prediction feature with two formats. In Game of the Day you predict the final score of one featured match; in Power Picks you predict several outcomes. Some Game of the Day events carry streak prizes: the help article lists 1,000,000 SC for correctly predicting the exact final score in 10 consecutive eligible events and 10,000 SC for calling the correct outcome (home win, draw or away win) in 10 in a row. Those are long odds by design. The older CrownSports widget used point spreads, and the help centre notes that rewards from it are bonus rewards that “must be played before they can be redeemed”.
No-purchase entry (AMOE)
Every sweepstakes needs a free way in, and Crown Coins confirms it has one. The help article “What’s Sweeps Coins (SC)?” (updated 3 March 2026) says “no purchase is necessary to obtain Sweeps Coins” and lists “mail-in entries” and social media contests as the alternative methods, pointing to the Sweepstakes Policy for full details. The article “Is it possible to claim my prize without making a purchase?” (updated 13 April 2026) confirms you can “redeem prizes without ever making a purchase”.
The catch is transparency. The Sweeps Policy page linked from the help centre (crowncoinscasino.com/pages/sweeps-policy) returned a “404: Not Found” page to logged-out visitors on 25 October 2026, so the mail-in address, the number of SC per request and the card format are not publicly readable. Log in and open the Sweeps Policy from your account before you post anything, and follow its instructions to the letter: mail-in requests at sweepstakes casinos are typically voided for small format errors.
Social media giveaways are the other free route. Crown’s help centre lists its official accounts and advises checking the page name, follower count and blue checkmark, because scammers copy the logo.
Sweeps Coin playthrough, expiry and the jackpot add-on
Crown’s help centre separates Sweeps Coins from “redeemable” Sweeps Coins. Its welcome bonus article says SC are promotional currency that, “once converted into redeemable coins”, may be redeemed for prizes, and its redemption guide asks for “at least 50 redeemable SC”. In practice, free SC must be played before they count; the exact multiple is set in the Sweeps Policy, which was not publicly readable on 25 October 2026. The homepage advertises “Lowest Play Required” without giving a number.
Here is how a 1x requirement would work, as an illustration: if you receive 20 free SC with a $19.99 pack, you would stake 20 SC in SC Mode before those coins, and any winnings from them, count toward the 50 SC redemption minimum. Your account shows which part of your balance is redeemable, so check that figure rather than your total SC.
Expiry is clearer. The help article “Does Sweeps Coins have an expiry date?” (updated 5 August 2026) sets a 60-day rule: SC are valid for 60 days from the date you last logged in, then expire automatically. They are also forfeited if your account is closed for any reason, including for a breach of the Terms.
Crown Jackpot: what the opt-in costs
Crown Jackpot is an optional progressive jackpot on eligible games, with Mega, Major, Minor and Mini tiers. The help article (updated 23 September 2026) sets the contribution per spin while opted in at 0.10 SC in SC Mode and 2,000 CC in CC Mode, deducted on top of your spin.
| Spin amount | Jackpot contribution | Total deducted | Surcharge |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.20 SC | 0.10 SC | 0.30 SC | 50% |
| 0.50 SC | 0.10 SC | 0.60 SC | 20% |
| 1.00 SC | 0.10 SC | 1.10 SC | 10% |
| 5.00 SC | 0.10 SC | 5.10 SC | 2% |
Regular game winnings are calculated on the spin amount only, and the contribution does not count toward VIP points. On small spins the add-on is a large extra cost, so decide deliberately; you can opt out at any time, and SC and CC opt-ins are separate.
Redeeming at Crown Coins: minimums, methods and times
The redemption rules are spread across several help articles, mostly updated between June and August 2026. Pulled together:
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Minimum | 50 redeemable SC; account fully verified (phone, ID, liveness check) |
| Instant Bank Transfer (IBT) | Log in to your bank through the IBT flow; not available in Tennessee or California |
| ACH | To a supported US bank account in your name |
| Skrill | To a Skrill account whose details match your Crown account; not available in California; maximum $14,500 |
| Prepaid virtual card | Visa or Mastercard virtual card by email, for online purchases only; up to $5,000; valid 6 months from activation |
| Review | 24 to 72 hours, up to 7 days in busy periods or if more checks are needed |
| After approval | IBT and ACH 1 to 5 business days; Skrill 1 to 3 business days; prepaid card immediately by email |
| Caps | New York and Florida residents limited to $5,000 per redemption |
| Fees | “Crown Coins Casino does not charge any fees for redemptions” |
| Cancelling | Possible while the request is pending, not once approved |
Which methods you see depends on your location and account eligibility. The article “What Redemption Methods Are Available?” (updated 20 August 2026) lists eligible banks including Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citibank, U.S. Bank, PNC, Capital One and Chime (Chime via IBT). It also lists what is generally not supported: foreign bank accounts, accounts belonging to someone else, payment apps and digital wallets such as PayPal, Cash App and Venmo, and fintech accounts. Prepaid redemption is offered mainly to players without a supported bank account.
Worked example
Say you finish a session on a Monday with 88 redeemable SC and a verified account. You request 88 SC by ACH. Crown’s stated review window is 24 to 72 hours, so approval should come between Tuesday and Thursday, or by the following Monday at the outer 7-day limit. Bank processing then adds 1 to 5 business days. Best case, the money lands Wednesday; worst case, more than a week later. Had you chosen the prepaid card, it would arrive by email straight after approval, but you could only spend it online. If your bank declines the payout, the coins return to your account and you can resubmit with another method.
Tracking a request and why redemptions fail
Crown’s status guide uses three labels. Pending means the team is still reviewing and verifying, and you can still cancel. Approved means the prize is on its way to your chosen method; you get an email, and cancelling is no longer possible. Canceled means you withdrew the request, and the coins go straight back to your playable balance. If a request is still not approved after 7 days, the help centre asks you to contact support.
The help articles list the usual reasons a redemption is rejected or delayed:
- the name or details on your bank or Skrill account do not match your verified Crown account (a “mismatch error”);
- your bank is not on the supported list, or IBT is unavailable for your account because of provider restrictions;
- you no longer have access to your verified phone number and must update it first;
- the request comes from a duplicate or unverified account, which is never processed;
- extra checks, such as a Source of Funds review, are pending.
Prepaid card prizes come from [email protected], so check spam folders before raising a ticket. The card can be added to Apple or Google Wallet but cannot be used to move money to a bank account.
You can make several redemptions, using the same or different methods, so long as each meets the rules. Tax is your responsibility: the help centre says Crown “does not provide tax guidance or reporting” and suggests a tax adviser.
Verification (KYC)
Verification starts when you first press “REDEEM”, or earlier if you ask support to run it through the “Account Verification” workflow, which the help centre recommends. The steps from “How do I verify my account?” (updated 3 March 2026):
- Complete a liveness selfie with your device camera.
- Upload a government-issued ID: driver’s license, state ID, permanent resident ID or passport. It must be clear, uncropped and unexpired; temporary IDs are not accepted, and the physical card must be submitted.
- Enter your address and phone details, matching your ID.
- If asked, upload proof of address dated within the last 3 months: a utility bill, bank statement, credit card statement or mobile phone bill. P.O. box addresses are not accepted.
Crown says most verifications finish within minutes to a few hours once every document is in, though its main guide also asks you to “allow a few business days”. Medical bills, receipts, insurance statements, vehicle registrations and tax returns are not accepted for address checks.
Larger or unusual activity can trigger a Source of Funds check. The help centre accepts official W-2 statements, IRS-filed tax return transcripts or official acknowledgement records, and rejects self-prepared documents. You may redact Social Security numbers but not your name, address, the document date or the relevant amounts. Refusing the check breaches the Terms and can lead to suspension.
Excluded states, social-only states and the age rule
Crown Coins publishes its state rules in two help articles, both updated on 3 August 2026, and in its Terms. Here is the picture as published, with the relevant state law dates added:
| Status | States | Source |
|---|---|---|
| No access | Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Washington | Help centre, 3 Aug 2026; Terms v4.1 |
| CC Mode only (no SC) | Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine, Tennessee | Help centre, 3 Aug 2026 |
| Modified sweepstakes (Sweeps Crown Tickets) | Indiana | Help centre, 3 Jul 2026 |
| Separate social-play terms; excluded from sweepstakes registration | California | Terms v4.1; California terms v4.0 (11 Oct 2026) |
| Not named in Crown’s lists | New York, Oklahoma | State law applies (see below) |
The CC-only label is Crown’s own description of what its platform allows. Each of those four states has its own sweepstakes casino ban (New Jersey and Connecticut in 2025, Tennessee and Maine in 2026), which is why only social play remains there.
Two gaps deserve a plain warning. New York banned online sweepstakes casinos on 5 December 2025, yet Crown’s state articles do not name New York, and its redemption FAQ (updated 25 June 2026) still mentions a $5,000 cap for New York residents. Oklahoma’s ban takes effect on 1 November 2026 and was not yet on Crown’s lists on 25 October 2026. An operator’s list does not override state law, so if you live in either state, assume sweepstakes play is unlawful there regardless of what the site allows. Bans that took effect in 2026 also include California (1 January), Indiana (1 July), Maine (29 July) and Louisiana (1 August).
Maine and Tennessee: how Crown wound down sweepstakes play
Crown’s Maine article (updated 6 July 2026) set out a three-step exit:
- 6 July 2026, 9:00 AM ET: CC packages stopped including free SC.
- Until 13 July 2026: existing SC could still be played.
- Until 13 August 2026, 11:59 PM EST: eligible redeemable SC could be redeemed with no minimum; anything left after that expired.
Tennessee followed the same pattern earlier: SC dropped from packages on 30 June 2026, SC play ended on 7 July and the no-minimum redemption window closed on 31 July 2026. Both states now get CC Mode, Crown Bingo and CC-only VIP and birthday bonuses. If you held SC in either state and missed the window, Crown’s articles say those coins have expired.
Indiana: Sweeps Crown Tickets and a Cash Balance
For Indiana, Crown did not switch off sweepstakes play. Its article “Sweeps Crown Tickets: What’s Changing for Indiana Players” (updated 3 July 2026) describes “a legal update specific to Indiana”: Sweeps Coins were renamed Sweeps Crown Tickets (still shown as SC), and the balance was split in two. Tickets are consumed on every spin, win or lose, and all winnings go into a separate Cash Balance in dollars, which can be redeemed from $50 or spent on store offers but cannot be used to spin. Coinback is disabled for Indiana. Some redemptions submitted under the old format were cancelled and had to be resubmitted. Indiana’s sweepstakes ban took effect on 1 July 2026; how this format fits that law is a question for Indiana regulators, not for us, so Indiana residents should read the state rules before playing.
Age
The Terms require you to be at least 18 and of the age of majority where you live. The help centre adds that “some games or activities may require a higher age” and that Crown Coins is “intended for users aged 18+ (and 21+ in certain territories)”. Most of the other big brands set 21, so Crown’s 18+ entry point is one of its clearest differences.
Games and providers
Crown Coins mixes in-house games with titles from third-party studios, and which studios you see depends on your state. Its help article on missing games lists provider restrictions by location, which doubles as a provider list:
| Provider (as named by Crown) | Restricted in (examples from Crown’s list) |
|---|---|
| Playtech | 20 states, including New York, Ohio, Florida, Kentucky and Oklahoma |
| Hacksaw / Hacksaw RGS | Over 20 states, including Pennsylvania, Georgia, Virginia, Arizona and Illinois |
| NoLimit City, Red Tiger, Evolution, BTG, NetEnt | About 30 states, including Ohio, Arizona, Illinois, Maryland and Oklahoma |
| 3 Oaks | Including Hawaii, Iowa, Kentucky and Ohio |
| Playson | Including Utah, Hawaii and New York |
| Microgaming / M2Play | Including Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island |
| RubyPlay, Koala | Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia |
| Reel Riot | Including Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland |
| Pragmatic Play | Listed as allowed only in Canada, Germany and Austria |
The practical point: a player in Texas and a player in Pennsylvania see different lobbies. If a favourite game vanishes, the help centre says provider restrictions by location are the usual reason. All games use a certified random number generator, according to Crown’s fairness article, and results are recorded server-side, so a visual glitch does not change an outcome.
Beyond slots, Crown has built a run of extras:
- Crown Bingo Live, hosted by Skywind three nights a week, with a CC event followed 30 minutes later by a Bingo Sweeps event. Patterns include rows, columns, diagonals, four corners plus centre, and Full House for the grand prize.
- Crown Rips, a free collectible trading-card pack (Pokémon and Multi Sport collections) with eligible CC packages. You choose a Thrill Level from Normal to Max, open the pack, and can sell the card for 100% of its Fair Market Value as Cash Balance.
- Crown Road, a timed rewards track with a free pass and a paid Premium Pass; cooldown timers cannot be skipped.
- Crown Rise, a climb-the-levels mini-game where a spider wipes any rewards still “At Risk” before the next checkpoint.
- Triple Crown and Wheel of Deals. Note that the Wheel of Deals percentage is extra value on a purchase offer, not a free SC prize, and only applies if you buy.
Buying Crown Coins: payment methods
Purchases are optional, but most SC arrive as free bonuses with CC packs, so most players will look at the store at some point. Crown’s payment article lists:
- Cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. The billing address must match your Crown account.
- Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay and Skrill (Skrill not available in California).
- PayNearMe: start a purchase online, get a barcode, and pay cash at participating stores such as 7-Eleven, CVS, Walgreens or Family Dollar. Sessions expire after 2 hours, and the cap is $1,000 per transaction.
Every payment method must be “legally and beneficially owned” by you. Using a family member’s card can get the account suspended.
Crown Coins app
“CrownCoins Casino” is on the US Apple App Store from seller Sunflower Ltd., first released on 10 December 2023, with its latest update on 16 October 2026 and a 4.8 average from about 143,000 ratings on 25 October 2026. It needs iOS 15.1 or later. The Terms name the iOS application “Crown Coins Casino” as part of the platform.
The Terms name only the iOS app, and on 25 October 2026 Google Play had no Crown Coins app from Sunflower, so Android players use the browser site. Google Play did show apps with similar names from other developers, including one titled “Crown Coins Casino Real Money”; none of them is published by Sunflower, so treat any Android “Crown Coins” download with suspicion. Our mobile casinos guide explains how to check an app’s developer before installing.
Customer support
Crown’s registration article says its support team is available 24/7 through the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the site, and account and reinstatement requests are “typically” answered within 24 hours by ticket or email. The Terms give [email protected] as the contact for marketing preferences and for any formal Notice of Dispute. Disputes go to individual arbitration under clause 14 of the Terms unless you opt out within the stated time.
The official community runs on Facebook, Instagram, X (@crowncoinsc), TikTok (@crowncoinscasino), Discord and Reddit (r/CrownCoinsOfficial). Crown never asks for a fee to release a prize, so any message that does is not from Crown.
Responsible play tools
Crown’s “How can I limit my gameplay?” article (updated 25 June 2026) sets out three tools:
- Purchase limits per day, week or month, resetting at 00:00 UTC (weekly limits reset on Mondays). Raising or removing a limit requires a 48-hour wait and a review.
- Cooldown of up to 90 days, which cannot be shortened once set. The account reopens automatically, with VIP status intact.
- Permanent closure (self-exclusion). Accounts closed for responsible gaming reasons can only be reviewed for reactivation after 90 days, and a closed account cannot be reopened for three months.
The difference between a cooldown and a closure matters if you are a VIP. Crown’s “What happens when I close my account?” article says closure removes VIP Dynasty status and perks immediately, blocks reopening for three months, and bars you from opening a new account in that period. A cooldown blocks play only for the period you choose, then reopens the account with benefits intact. To come back after a cooldown, self-exclusion or closure, you contact support under Responsible Gaming and confirm, among other things, that any gambling problem behind the closure has been addressed; you may be asked for ID.
If play stops being fun, call the free, confidential US helpline 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), run by the National Council on Problem Gambling. More options are on our responsible gaming page.

Who Crown Coins suits
Crown Coins suits players aged 18 to 20 who are shut out of 21+ brands, players who want a low 50 SC cash threshold, and anyone who likes a busy lobby with missions, bingo and side games. It suits less well players who want every rule readable before signing up, since the Sweeps Policy was not public on our check, and anyone who wants payouts to PayPal, Cash App or Venmo. If you live in a no-access or CC-only state, or in a state that has banned sweepstakes, the CC-only social mode or our social casinos guide are the lawful options.
